@@davidbradshaw4796 I live in Florissant Mo, we are over three hours away from you all. We got so much rain in a short time it flooded our streets and homes that were within distance of the cold water creek. I was one of those.
SUGGESTION: I am a cabinetmaker, & a very simple addition to your kitchen would be to add a pull out cutting board above the drawer & install a tip out sink front panel for scrubbies, soap or towels. To make the slide out cutting board raise your butcher block top 3/4 inch & install slides made from two aluminum or steel "tracks" (maybe even use scrap steel bent "Z" or "H" shape." That will double the utility of a compact kitchen. You also could notch out the top rail above the drawer, cut 3/4 inch off drawer front & add that piece to the front of the cutting board & put a dowel peg knob for pullout. The cutting board could be made of 3/4 inch birch or maple plywood seasoned with mineral oil or Tung oil. This could be standard or as an add on option that could easily be included during the assembly line. Most people would be happy to pay an extra $100 if you couldn't just include it in the base price. I am in love with your innovative housing option. I am hoping to find a way to get one. Low fixed income is very limited. Of course, if there's a will, there's a way. Just need to figure how.
If your on SSI this is doable. Save up a year before moving in. Or pay debt off so living is easier. That has been my goal for the last 10 yrs. Worked with my bank for help doing all of it. Done. This is looking obtainable. What are other sizes?
Terrific sales pitch could only be done by someone who loves his product. Anyone who gets down on the floor with his dog is okay by me. Great job, great product.
Where are they allowed to be put? &….? have they made tiny house communities, that these can be put into? Large lots with single houses could become the central kitchen for three or four tiny houses that are out in the yard and they all connect to the sewer water etc.
Another fascinating thing is that these can be bought and used as dormitories at college and then ? they turn around and sell , tent them -to other students …when you leave for college..!! Add up how much dormitory rooms cost? Normally it’s just a lost expense…)…And a 8 x32? could be divided into 2- spaces and you could rent?… half of it too! now we need to buy lots in College towns, and make the zoning work - or we could have 10 of those on a half acre lot ___including the central house? which is like a ski lodge -& it would all work out well… There could be sororities and frat houses created this way
@@johnswartz2423 - Great idea on the 8'x32', each side could have it's own entrance, with a large shared bathroom in between, that contains a stackable washer/dryer, the shower, toilet, a 1' wide shelving unit next to the w/d, and a 3' wide closet opposite the w/d. The perfect tiny house for 2 friends, or siblings to share (or a home office)!
I pray that he listens! This could quite literally be his freedom ticket... People are always trying to make more and more money in life while stuggling more and more trying to be something they arent. More people need to realize its not always about how much money you make. Its also about how much you KEEP! Had I lived in one of these for about 5 to 8yrs when I first moved out Id would have had enough money saved to buy a normal home cash regardless of the job you have.
@@stevennorris6654 Exactly, it's $156 a square foot. Funny, this is the exact reality that the World Economic Forum has claimed was going to happen while they openly say they are deciding what to do with the useless people.
I really love these tiny homes ! But no one has answered my question about when someone lives where it snows a lot in winter . I live up by Lake Erie and we get lots of snow . How would this roof hold up ?? I’d have to remove snow off it .
I appreciate the idea of a $20K home but with $20K you could purchase a used 5th Wheel with more features and comforts of home. You did this assembly line style and it looks just like it was mass manufactured so by the time you make it feel and look like a lovely home you’re putting in another $20K.
People don’t understand you can’t just go to an rv park and plug in to power , water or sewer with this . It’s not set up like an rv that has inverters , black and gray water tanks and much more . You will need to add in the cost for land , power , water and sewer . You will need more than 20k.
I love the tiny home franchise, all shapes, makes and models but this looks like a shoe box to me, what I'm seeing is alotta disappointed customers down the line.
I understand what you’re saying but a 5th wheel will last 1/5th of the life of this if not less, you also will be fixing things constantly because 5th wheels aren’t meant to be lived in full time and are made very cheaply. The construction of this home may have inexpensive materials but it is not cheaply made in terms of quality, it will not need constant repairs like a camper would. Another issue with 5th wheels compared to this is the moisture issue, they get moldy from the moisture if you try to use them for year round living, heating in winter creates so much condensation where as these are built like a home and don’t have that issue. Also these are extremely insulated, a camper has cardboard thin walls with no insulation, you have no privacy and no energy efficiency. You don’t have to worry about pipes/lines freezing in this, you certainly do in a camper. Also anything you’d need to replace in this you can easily find at a Lowes or Home Depot, campers however have more expensive, lower quality replacements you have to special order. If you want to modify anything in a camper such as adding on, well you can’t but you can with the house. Having considered both myself and being a camper owner I just wanted to point out some of the things that sometimes aren’t thought about. Is this as nice looking as a nice 5th wheel? No, but you’re getting something that is built like a house, is sturdy, efficient, long lasting, can be easily modified, easy to replace mechanicals, can go through all seasons and offers privacy. To me that’s what makes this appealing, I personally would need another 10 feet added on to this for a bedroom, a lot of peel and stick wallpaper, a washer/dryer and I would definitely be able to live in it full time.
I read some of the comments and saw someone already asked about your Amish builders in Kentucky. I have been praying for them because of the awful flooding. Hope they are okay. Love you guys.
I love how we're finally realizing we don't need 4000 Sq ft of living space to be comfortable. This is good for someone who is single & it takes no time to make. They need to teach this in high school so these young men can graduate with survival skills.
Dear Randy and Amanda. My thought for the incredibox would be to build in a Murphy bed that folds down over a L shape sofa. That way you have a living room until bed time. A high end company called Resource Furniture make a great example, but I think you guys could source a Murphy bed kit quite inexpensive. There are do many space saving ideas on the internet now.
I wouldn't bother with the bed. You could buy a nice wide seated sofa that one person could sleep comfortably on or just make a custom sofa/bed combo yourself.
I used to have a nice wooden futon couch that was big enough for me and my cat. It could slide down flat to become a full size bed, which could fit two people.
I would cover up the window above the sofa with a Murphy Bed. The best Murphy bed folds out for a restful slumber at night and tucks away to reclaim space during the day.
Oh my goodness WOW that's a awesome idea 💃💃💃💃and also I was thinking the sofa could be a sofa bed as well .... Murphy bed is number #🙏🙏🙏...this tiny house is perfect
Aside from rental income, these units would be great for use as a home business office, teen hang-out, guest cottage, in-law or elderly parent home, yes. Family can be close-by but not crowding each other, living in a comfortable independence-based living space. (Buyers can attach the shower curtain rod to a swivel & simply swing the rod & curtain over to cover the bathroom entrance as needed. Two-in-one privacy solution.)
I keep saying that I wish that tiny houses were allowed in more places! They have another inexpensive larger version that's longer so you can have more of a separate bedroom and living room area that I think you can still tow like an RV because of its width. I personally love the larger one that they're offering that is like a one bedroom apartment with a completely separate bedroom area. All that you need is to add a curtain or some bifold doors to separate it. The last one would be perfect for my 21 year old or myself when all three of my boys are grown. Now I just need Massachusetts to let us have these! Amanda is so right! The rent is crazy up here! The minimum wage is more than double what it is in Tennessee (as far as I've heard), but everything is crazy expensive here. These smaller houses are so needed with all of the environmental issues that we're facing. We're going to need to fit into smaller spaces and use less resources. Our government needs to get with it! If only Randy had a park here! People would easily pay higher rent because it would still be less than a regular apartment.
This would be perfect for a barber or hairstylist! Forget paying a ton in suite rental! This would be yours forever for about a years worth of suite rental prices!
This is so awesome - I think the only improvement I'd make would be to make a bunk style bed halfway to 2/3rds up the couch wall. Couch could still go underneath and you'd have a loft bed above with a safety railing. I think it would utilize the space just a bit better, but with the construction materials used I'm not sure that heavy of a load hanging in the space there is an option. Super cozy home regardless!
Some ideas: As shown in a previous video, put a closet in where the water heater is and put the water heater on top of the closet; now you have a place to hang your clothes. Instead of the "overhang" on the kitchen counter, leave it opened for a small apartment refrigerator/freezer. A box type drawer could be built to put under the refrigerator for more storage, which also rises up the refrigerator for easier access to the contents. In place of the couch, a box bed with drawers could be put there for additional storage. Big pillows could be placed on the bed on the "wall" side of the bed to be used during the day as a couch. My dad built box beds with drawers for us when we were kids and they provided lots of valuable storage space. A small shallow cupboard could be placed along side of the toilet for extra storage, as well as a cupboard up above the toilet..... I'm sure there are many other ideas for those with creative minds!!! Beautiful unit Randy! You an Amanda are quite the team with these great little homes! Blessing to both of you and keep up the could work. This world needs more good people like you!!!
Great suggestions. I have a futon couch with a base. It holds all the bedding. There is still plenty of room for clothing. Also I saw where a person used a metal rolling toolbox for an island. Add a thick cutting board to the top. Get stools and you have a eating area.
That's called a captains bed very useful for small spaces but convertible futons are good too lots of storage options with say a flat top box or steamer trunk coffee table for additional seating also more shelving custom cabinets of course that loft is there too just fold your clothes up there maybe have a step stool double as seating at the counter hooks on the back of the door for coats etc. etc.
If I was 40 years younger, I would definitely buy one of these. These are great! I was in real estate and property management for over 20 years! A big kudos to y'all!!!
I love your incredi boxes. Wish I was a few years younger, I’d be buying and living in one. They are awesome. Randy and Amanda, I love your enthusiasm. You guys are great.
I live in PA. I have yet to find any place to put these homes except on a owned land with an existing house and approval from the local building gods and city, township.....
Honestly...with a few HVAC additions, a mod for a w/d hookup and two days worth of paint and personal touches...the Incredi-Box becomes all one person really needs for a total outlay under $30K. It truly is an amazing product at that price point. PS...I'm from Elkhart, Indiana and I guarantee you that this Incredi-Box is far better than anything you could buy for $20K made in "The RV Capitol of America".
What a joke. This thing is probably worth maybe 8,500 with no customizations or furniture included. No electric meter, riser or shit included. Guessing it's missing the panel too.. Where's your main water getting hooked up???
Thank you SO much- this helps someone have a home who wouldn’t be able to buy a regular home- or homeless! My respect and Wyoming Bearhugs! God bless you all!!

@@francineposa6103 I saw where there's someone in Florida building Tiny Homes like these for the homeless, which is a wonderful idea and with the way ITH does mass production, it may save them some time and money. I love this guy!
I think there is a ductless heat and air system being advertised. Nice looking unit - looks about 12" X 36", or so. The man had hung it near the top of the ceiling. Where are you located?
This is such a great idea for those people, struggling, especially seniors who are getting priced out of their homes. Even for those that don’t have a home and they’re living on the streets, this is more than they can probably even think about having, and our government should be Subsidizing these homes. These are beautiful and they really do feel like a home not just a box to sleep in at night. Good for the both of you, love your videos, and I’m so encouraged about seeing alternatives for those who want a little piece of home and aren’t quite ready to go into some type of nursing homeor shelter, etc. God bless you both
Hi from England 🇬🇧, Randy and Amanda! I am moving to the US next year… I have watched probably 100 or more of your videos so far. Highly impressed by what Randy achieved at Brothers’ Cove.. I lost a lot in 2007-2008 too.. had to close a business down around that time.. can totally relate. But like you, started again almost from scratch, but everything leaner, smarter, quicker and in higher volumes.. experience from the past = more valuable than any MBA degree! Just wanted to say I love you guys and look forward to meeting you at some point next year! Loving the Incredi-boxes and the exciting mountainside future plans with containers as platforms. Your videos are great, as is your business/all products! Much love and respect, Claire
Good luck with the move, but I will warn you: do NOT move to the north eastern states or anywhere along the Pacific coast. The worst is the state of New Jersey, where I live. You will end up running back to UK!
Need THIS NOW ! I'm emailing you TODAY. Must move by mid September. Rent raised beyond by budget ! So grateful for YOU Randy ,Amanda & ITH ! keeping me from being home less !
But people have to have Land, to place that tiny house on it if you don't , someone has rent the land, and it could be a problem? Bc the owner can sell at any time that property and you are nowhere to go???
We’re still waiting on ours. It’s a bit frustrating that they are offering “grab and go’s” when those of us who pre-paid still do not have ours. We purchased back in March.
@@tamiwilliams706 I understand, but Randy was clear that this gives them a quick infusion of cash to help keep their business running. They have so many employees to pay weekly, and if their sales are down, these are necessary.
At first glance it sounds like a good deal but if you run the numbers it comes in at $156.25 per sq ft (8x16 = 128 sq ft $20,000/128 = $156.25) That seems high especially without heat, air, or appliances included. Am I missing something? I do see the benefit in providing something at this price considering the housing/homeless crisis in not only our country but around the world. It just seems like more amenities could be included at this price. Granted, I'm not a builder however, based on my research, a brick home can be built on your land at less than $150.00 per sq ft. Just under $134.00 per sq ft as advertised. And you mentioned over $150.00 per sq ft quoted by a builder friend of yours for a residental home. Because my granddaughter is interested in a tiny home I've been researching but I still have so many questions. Love watching your show and love some of the custom tiny homes.
Look up the prices for Tumbleweed Tiny Homes or Titan Tiny Homes etc they are way more per square foot than this one. Honestly, Holy Grounds Tiny Homes is probably the only builder even close to Randy's prices and it's a year+ waiting list.
I literally paused the video right when Randy said he's looking into getting magnetic features for the inside and outside just so i could comment! I was thinking last week how cool it would be if there were magnetic shutters that could be put on the outside. You could change them out and have different colors depending on your mood or the season! ❤️ Love it, Randy! I'm sure between you and Amanda that you'll figure out how to do it! Keep up the great work!
Same on the inside... buy magnetic strips and attach them to the back of picture frames, or beadboard, or frame out fabric panels to put on a feature wall, then change it out later if your taste changes!
For Q and A Wednesday: Would it be possible to see pictures or a video tour of the 8 x 16 incredibox with all of the off grid features attached? (maybe no one has ordered one yet to even have available photos? 🤔) I want to purchase one with the entire off grid option package! Thanks again!
Love it! You have worked hard to make an Incredible Tiny Home affordable and secure for those in need. So much can be done in this home to make it unique it’s amazing. Thanks for showing it.
As of the last few weeks I have been so obsessed with tiny 🏠 houses! I heard about them when they first really blew up years ago but I thought they were ridiculously small like can't stand up straight. I had no idea they were this roomy! Perfect for me, absolutely Love them ☺️
It would be cool to have 2 of these together. One could be bed and bathroom the other living room, kitchen with a pantry in the bathroom area, and maybe the bump out for laundry.
You could build a deck between the two and have an outdoor living space too. A bedroom and bathroom in one, and the living room and kitchen in the other. That way you could have a full size kitchen with appliances. Do you have lots that are big enough for that?
Actually thats a great idea. Offsetting the 2 together so can have a large private Bedroom with access to the Bathroom. Use a Sliding barn door, and only have a Den and Bedroom in the 2nd. That would allow a laundry room and storage, extend the bath room to add a soaking tub, move the kitchen down, so the 1st incredi box is only- Bath, Laundry, Kitchen. The 2nd IncrediBox is Bedroom, Closet, Den. Set 10 feet down leaves an area for a nice screened in porch. That makes it a Cottage. Is there room for 2 built this way, delivered and attached? A cottage with space to live would be extremely suitable for a Couple on the Lake, or in most Counties. The City limits is where people run into zoning laws. Just an idea. Im looking at a 30x30 Steel Cottage on a slab. I can have any color I like with metal roof. The roof peak allows for a 15 x 15 loft, that a person can stand in. The downstairs is 2 Bed, 2 Bath, Galley Kitchen, laundry room. Upstairs with staircase, loft-shelves to 1 side for all my storage Christmas Tree, etc with sliding barn doors. A 3rd Bedroom and a Bath with Shower stall. Its a bit over 1000 sq ft, less than $4k. Warranty 175 years. With the 2 incredibox design, make the changes-have a peak roof, so you have 2 Beds and storage-the price wouldn’t be much different. Randy-Amanda, before I commit on the Steel house, can the 2 incredibox houses be done?
Please put a sink in bath room #1…Need a microwave & a small porch I can sit on & throw it in bed of truck pulling it… & you got a sale. Great video!!! Happy camping!!
Amanda you're an awesome decorator. It's beautiful home .. and Randy love how you explain the details that alot of people never recognize or think of , unless they are carpenters . If I'm ever capable of purchasing a Tiny home I'd buy from ITH because I know personally the honest work and quality that goes into each home rather it be these homes or custom built. Beautiful home.
OMG You two, I love these homes SOOO much!💕 The new improvements u had made a just PERFECT!! If there was a spot somewhere there on the property ( Beach, Prairie sides of the community) I would be sending in my ck for two of them. One w/b w/ solar pkge and the other just as u have it; so I can give it to my son. We don't need a big spot, something w/ out alot of trees, bushes, surrounding it. I am tired of working & giving all my money to maintain the land scaping of my house. I so want to live simple and free. Praying u will open up some of the alotted areas that are along yur fence line, for just a line of Small I-Box homes...just like u have the Grab-n-Go's situated 🙏🏼😃😃 I think there are alot of people like myself who could care less about having a "yard /space" and care more about having a place to park/place our "Tiny Homes" Amanda, love, love, love the color choice on the decorated I-box. Please list it again, I keep trying to find the video where u said the colors. 💕💕 all your enthusiasm and ideas! Keep it going, Blessing to all the ITH team.
I totally agree with you @SandyFinnerty. That fence line area would be a great location. I’m also not a huge yard lover. A small patch of grass is perfect for me. Something I cut with a weed wackier is great..
Love the Curtains! But would need blinds for at night, unless you Can't see threw them, which 'may' be possible. Would put up shelves behind the sofa bed, and place baskets for clothes. A Microwave is a MUST for me, maybe on a self on wall by the Kitchen window. 2 burner 'potable' stove a and a small fridge. Washer/dryer combo under kitchen counter too. PREFER to be Off Grid. Where do I get one?
Fantastic little home. Keep making them for $20 000 and you will always have buyers all over the country and elsewhere. I love it. You have something no one else has at this price.
Good demonstration. Mine are 12 x16 full bathtub instant hot water. Weighs a bit more, and when i move them its to a permanent location 3,800 lbs. Mine will not qualify as a camper or rv too wide. Easy carry for a roll back though. Great build folks
I love it. I'd want the far window set higher and longer (like a transom) so a headboard could fit under. Even if you use the couch ...I don't like my back to a window.
You folks are right up the road from where I live .. I love the tiny homes you have shown .. I just wondering if I’ll be able to squeeze one of your homes in my backyard.. I have over 1 1/2 acres here but I’m thinking about the housing codes if we can have them on our property.. I’m thinking about one for family visiting and they would enjoy the privacy more so then inside my home … but they look so nice it may be hard to send company back home lol … but anyhow I’m seriously considering buying one so I’ll check our codes and see .. thank you for your videos.. I think I’ve even seen your homes in Newport as a matter of fact.. lol
I love it ! I wanted my husband to get into building tiny houses 7 / 8 years ago. We did buy land and put a shed cabin on it, but he didn’t want to do it full time. He retired as a journeyman electrician 3 years ago. So he’s no competition. Lol but what a great business to be in. This solves our country’s homelessness. Really. It dose. If politicians would ever decide to deal with homelessness. This is a mansion. My mother would live really well in this home. And I wish she would. I want her out of the city. I have room for this house out on my property out in the country. We are in west Tennessee. I hope , I pray I can convince my mother to live out by us. If I can I will be buying one. I think they are beautiful! And I would definitely live in one. I would love it ! You guys are incredible just like your incredible homes. God bless ! Leslye
@@danielgaytan3167. Better than being on the street. For many that’s all they can afford. If I had a few acres with utilities, I would get one. But sadly many cities, towns and counties have restrictions on what type of housing you can put there.
Amanda, you are an amazing decorator! I love what you did with this home, it is so aesthtically pleasing, texture contrast...I think it is your best yet!
I see this as a solution to our housing crisis. If only the Mayor's and commissioners would have a heart and permit tiny home Villages to be built. Melbourne Florida needs this!!
I'd use my queen sized bed to be a couch during the day and then build an open 30 ft. yurt for family/community events which several people would share, while we will each live in various sizes of tiny homes. And I have plans to help my grown disabled son (who is nearly blind) buy one of these as he has guaranteed income and the payments could be made automatically out of his account. And he's going to place it on his father's land in Pecos, New Mexico. And then he will he settled for life and be able to focus on creating art. These are so cool!
Very nice ! Wonderful to see alternative housing for the next generation or more senior people who want to simplify ! Could also make a great guest house on your property ! Less is the new more ! Keep up the great work ! ❤️
Yes, Stikwood is one of the companies that makes those. I used their wood strips to build a gorgeous headboard. A feature wall in an IB would be fabulous!
I hope this deal never ends! I've got half the money saved and I'm scouting out a good place to put it but have had no luck... I'd love to see what different owners have done as far as the decor goes! Please show more, thanks amanda and randy
Deal? It's a cheap piece of garbage. It's so ugly inside. These people are cheap sales people. He said he lives in one? Let's see his. I wouldn't buy anything from these people.
@@alphajava761 I know it's Nota 50 grand tiny house.. but that is the entire point. Renters and homeowners went broke or lost everything, people in fires, refugees, list goes on... What a gift to be blessed with no matter how "cheap" or where to put your shoes. The point... it beats a tent. It beats someone's sofa, it sure beats sitting in your car staring at your house with teenagers in car who have never experienced eviction, thru rising home prices, power, yard care, taxes, on and on.. I wouldn't care how small or closet size, just to have us all in one place where we can shower and feel stable, I would be so so very grateful. God bless you guys for coming up with a roof, a way to provide healthy meals, and ability to be clean without rest stops, fast food, and car living until you can get family back on feet. Who cares about all the vain stuff. Give me a roof for my family and we can go up from there. 🙏❤️👏
I like the idea but honestly you are setting yourself up for a liability suit with and electrical outlet at the floor that you advertise for use as a wet area. Outlets at the floor are not allowed to begin with let alone in a wet area.
I absolutely love how you designed your tiny home. Question? Do you have any that has a ramp for a motorized wheelchair and wheelchair accessible doors?
How cool is this..a place for my hubby when he's in the dog house..lol...all kidding aside...this is actually a great space with many options...it's nice to see someone trying to help people and not just rip them off..20k is a good price...I like the diy part to make it your own...I would love to have 2 of these and put them together as 1...then you could have a nice bedroom with bathroom..make the bathroom that's there now into a utility room with w/d And water heater in it..have a nice kitchen with more cabinets and also your living area...sweet...
I really like this but what is the snow load capability of those flat roofs? Would love it if you raised the front door wall to slope the roof towards the back so snow slides off that roof.
Hi Randy & Amanda! I just want to say your doing an awesome job! Your helping people afford housing and not worrying about filling your pockets like many other places do. You both are amazing people with BIG HEARTS!! Always stay true to who you are. QUESTION: I love the door color, what brand and color name is it if you don’t mind me asking, that color would go with my bathroom Bee theme. Thank You!!
Ya’lls excitement/energy makes me really wish I had the finances to buy at least one right now. Keep up the good work of homing ppl with the means. Thank you both for your enthusiasm and comprehensive pricing. All love ❤️
My goodness - what a beautiful, inexpensive option!! It’s a realistic goal for a downsizing couple, such as me and the hubs, to live debt free and have plenty!!
My first thought was WOW, but I realized it is too small and still in need of a lot of things for everyday life. Some comments below are legit...what about water hookup, electrical hookup, etc. However, if one is so cheap, maybe buy 2 for $40,000 and design them to go side by side attached so that you would have an actual bedroom and bath together on one side, and maybe a little office/desk area to sit and be on you laptop like we all do too, then on the other side you could have a little bigger better kitchen and a permanent living room, maybe some serious storage, all kinds of things you could think of. I'd also make it 20' x 10, so side by side it would be 20'x20'. TONS better than trying to live in a 10x16 space...which, most people couldn't do indefinitely unless you are in such a place that is literally all you have and you have no options.
