Great video. Can’t believe the negative comments? If you have a good place to ride a gas powered dirt bike then do it. But the fun factor of the e bikes and the small size makes them fun. I am from the 70’s dirt bike sene and it was all about modifying the bike back then and this is what the light e bike experience is about along with being able to ride and keep quiet. Thanks
In addition to the amazing video and pro-riding skills, this guy has excellent presentation skills and a voice to be in front of the camera. On a side note, I would love to see more Talaria content on this channel. Thank you for your work!
Your ultra bee looks so much better than the light bee it’s mostly that extended swing arm that makes it look weird to me and i think light bees look better with 19/16 wheels if you said i could pick one I’d pick the ultra bee in a second
@azalldayson28 I mean it's pretty fucking capable, I just could have had stark and saved money. I bought my light bee almost four years ago though and all this cool shit wasn't available at the time. If I sold it, if just lose money on it
Such a great video! You guys are killing it lately 🙂 It's great to see how much ACTUAL power is necessary/useful for the most extreme builds. I find it amusing when people talk about putting down 30KW on a small, lightweight dirt bike. I can't use more than 15KW on my MX4 in the woods and most of the time 10KW is more than enough. Any more than that and I'm just spinning the tire and the throttle is super sketch.
You guys know where i can get a k990 90/100-18? Been looking for one. Also how soft are the knobbies on that? Same as mx33? Unfortunately cannot find an 18" gummy for my e-ride.
That ultra bee is so sick it's actually a motorcycle. The light bee I have rode a stock one and It's definitely like a mountain bike with not alot of power the suspension on the stock light bee is horrible it's so rigid 😂. I definitely am buying a ultra bee.
Please put the ultra against a varg and a 450. Really curious how that would go. Apparently you said your only at 25kw. So turn it up all the way and see what its capable of. If at 20k it's not competitive with the varg or a 450 it's a big disappointing
What is the point of this video? That a 20k investment doesn’t make it a full motocross bike? this is like taking a gokart to Lemans. These small frame e-bikes are for a different purpose
@@ChargedCycleWorks do you have a video of a stock bike racing against a 20k super build? I guess then one would see how useful the upgrades are? Personally I wouldn’t pour 20k into a mini electric motocross bike unless it was to race within certain class limits.
We agree! Luckily these bikes were used and abused in their stock form prior to upgrading. Kinda went something like “ride, break, fix, ride” over and over again until we ended up here 😂
1 - Because you like instant torque 2 - Because you like less maintenance 3 - Because you like tech 4 - Because you like instant tunabilty 5 - Because you started out with a $6000 bike and modded it over time 6 - Because you already have a gas bike 7 - Because electric is fun 8 - Because it’s the future and you’re an early adopter 9 - Because you can
theres no way that light bee is 20k my guess is more like 13-15k Its not even the best you can get the rotors are junk you will warp that front rotor in one lap. needs floating rotors and arguably a bigger size to. and trps arent even good
You don't know much about these bikes do you? Definitely over $15k. I have seen ones over $20k without even considering labor costs. Look up the price of all the parts he has before just making assumptions.
