@MINNESOTA_PTSD
@MINNESOTA_PTSD Год назад
Idc how much he improved he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He takes the high variance play at every turn. Example - when dealt AK off in the cutoff 100 times , with an open and call in front of him .. he’s literally 3 betting 100% of the time. That number should be 75-80% depending on opponent player type … especially early in a tournament. When dealt 67 suited 100 times in position with a KK10 flop with a bet and call in front of him .. HES LITERALLY 3 betting 100% of the time. He shoved for 50K into a 150K pot leaving his opponent to call 50K into 200K pot after calling two previous streets. There’s nothing any opponent is folding there other than a missed draw which he beats. Occasionally depending on the board you might get a small pair with a missed flush draw to fold but that’s just giving away so many chips. The way he played his aces with a short stack 4 ways to the river after blasting away in previous hands with nothing …is just unreal. I know he’s young. I’ll admit that there are times that he’s played well in tournaments and it’s just not all luck. But this video ….. was really bad. Stacking himself with nothing and then the AA hand just slow plays 4 ways until he’s beat and bets. The friend that just called 1 of the many failed bluffs in this video … with the absolute nuts rather than raising and putting Ethan all in … is complete BS BTW. Honestly, it doesn’t take a pro or bracelet winner to say that it’s actually really embarrassing for poker that Ethan has had the success he’s had. Because this video shows you his strategy. Ultra aggressive with a “bink” whenever it’s required. Unless he improves or stops sharing a majority of his poker sessions … I’m not sure he has a chance other than aggression + bink = cash.
@ryanturner3432

@@MINNESOTA_PTSD I say this every time he posts a video. Yeah... He wins but it's literally just luck when he does. 99% of the pots he rakes, are from behind and sucking out and he over plays pretty much everything.

Since you mentioned it, the art behind you for this series of vlogs is "Typewriter Eraser, Scale X is a sculpture of a large-scale typewriter eraser by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. Constructed in 1999". I knew the fabricator and was in the factory when it was constructed. I was looking at the piece and someone asked me what I thought of it. I said that I would have put a scuff on the erasure thinkin about what was removed from the world. Claes turned to me and said it was, "all about the potential". I was very embarrassed. There are several of this edition throughout the U.S. - National Museum of Art, Seattle, and others.

Why do you play tournaments differently then you do at the Hustler? Everyone in a tournament is playing extremely tight especially starting off. I really wouldn't expect bluffing until the final few tables. You may be able to run loose in online poker but not in a tournament setting. Tighten up your tournament game brother. Find that fold on the flop or turn instead of trying to run on a prayer that only comes 10% of the time. Best wishes Rampage. I'm always rooting for you.

Hey Rampage, I have a comment on your KQ hand (2 pair flop). I think it's a good play to continue half pot on the Turn and all-in on the River. I mean after your check-raise on the Flop who is going to bet on the Turn? AT and JJ however you are not folding anyway so it seems that with your line you loose to a stronger hand but don't get max-value from a weaker hand but with my proposed line you loose to a stronger hand however you get max-value from a weaker hand.
@Calve02

Loose and lose: These two words cause a lot of confusion, so it's well worth spending a few minutes to understand the difference between the two. Lose is a verb that means “to fail to win, to misplace.” Loose is an adjective that means “not tight.”

@MINNESOTA_PTSD Год назад
@@masta1866 while what you are saying is true a lot of why he’s all in so much is because of the way he misplayed AK early on. Then with just 26.5 BB left still early on … it goes open , call, Ethan just calls pre , checks flop , checks turn, and leads out river after he’s beat. WITH AA. He played AK awful He played AA awful He played A8 awful I would bet … that a majority of his leaks are with Ax in poker. That said he played awful this entire video. And he’s all in way too much. And if he’d stop bluffing so much … he wouldn’t be. The fact he’s had success playing this way says a lot about one thing … “BINK” An opponent who’s ultra aggressive and catches whatever card he needs when it matters doesn’t make them a good poker player. Actually the fact he’s stated so many times before that “he sux” or is a donkey or a “luckbox” … while at the same time putting out videos showing multiple 6 digit scores and rings … it’s hard to root for a guy like that. It’s almost disrespectful to all the others out there who study 30-40 hours a week and grind 5/10$ or 1100$ tourneys for a living trying to get by month to month. It’s not Ethan’s fault per say and I’m def not one of the grinders at all … but I don’t see why I would want to root for his success when it’s really just a joke and more a less a slap in the face to poker in general. It’s basically just “ yup I’m really bad … but I’m great at hitting cards when I need them… so now I’m playing with the smartest people in the world in the game today … see if I can hit bink city … like comment and subscribe!”😅 👍

Yes, I could roast you on that one (Q9s)but I won’t do it since you already know you screwed it up. But…A8o is a strong hand in your opinion? You flop the ace, you have no kicker. You flop the 8 as top pair, you find yourself easily beaten by a bunch of overpairs. No straights or flushes can be made. Terrible reverse implied odds. I never call a preflop raise with such a shitty hand. Don’t get me wrong man, I’m a subscriber and I do enjoy watching your videos but holy crap, we definitely didn’t read the same poker books!🤣

it was blind vs blind and the way it was played rampage obviously had a read that the player was very loose. i think rampage should have been looking for the exit when the opponent bet the turn as i think bluffs check that board there (with potential to check-raise), but a call with the intent to fold if the river doesn't improve is okay for the price. of course rampage's hand didn't improve so it was white flag time.

To me, that’s a hand not worth investing a penny, for the reasons I already said, and that was exactly what happened in this case. He hit the ace and got out kicked. It’s a decent hand to go all-in pre heads-up if you’re short on chips but that’s pretty much it. Most of the time you end up winning a small pot or losing a big one.

You were trying to hard to bluff when you should have been reading your opponents, some of those hands were clearly not bluffs

Ethan brother it seems like you’re doing way too much checking in hopes of trapping. Seems like that cost you in the AA hand among others
