I would like to see a artifact sacrifice budget deck. Like an aristocrats but for artifacts, or artifact creatures maybey. Ive tried to make one but cant seem to land the color or the commander.
Isshin really does be saying double it and give it to the next person. Been wanting to build Isshin for a while and I was able to get the whole thing for close enough to the $25 plus shipping so I'm delighted. Thank you so much Wedge and I'm absolutely down for more budget decks so I'll be keeping a close eye on your channel for budget deck techs for not just commander but perhaps standard, pioneer, pauper, modern and legacy. Standard is an interesting case because it's probably more of an arena format so accounting for that is a factor. I'm obviously not expecting a $25 budget for decks of all formats. The main thing is the deck gives the most bang for buck while being fun to play.
For your consideration: Hellkite Charger? It's hungry on mana (and you may need to pay that ability twice if you want to double the trigger) but gets you more combat steps which is what I would prioritize if upgrading this deck. Additionally, Zhentarim Bandit can make treasures on attack, you have to pay some life but whatever, you're going fast and hard.
Damn you hit on like all the cards i like im MY Isshin deck. Only extra shout outs i can make are Dualist heritage, weathered sentinels, and Death kiss.
Yes definitely would want more and love budget content in general I know magic is a expensive game inherently but it doesn't mean us poor people can't play it either plus great video again

You should consider putting out a decklist with these videos as well because I just messed up and accidentally missed like 19 entire cards when I bought this deck in singles from CK and now I have to go back and pay twice the cost of the last of them in shipping lmaooo
so thing about raiyuu is yes you will get those combats but your creatures wont untap between combat steps so unless you have vigilance your not getting allot out of it also you totally said blade of selves twice there

Love this deck and really loved the outro, hilarious! Been wanting to build a mardu deck for a while but havent been able to find a commander for it. Might just pick this guy up as i probably have a bunch of pieces for it already just collecting dust and I've always wanted to fit brutal hordechief and ankle shanker into something. *update 20 minutes later* Odered my isshin lets go!
Would love a budget allies deck!! I'm currently thinking of making Mardu allies with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death as the commander. Keep bringing those allies back for lots of fun triggers!! Also I get to make a joke about Alesha, a trans woman having lots of allies

Nice mardu as the first choice! Aggression is always a fun build. As for the upgrade part you couldve just done a second video lol takes alot out to do it all in 1 take or use a link in description to show upgrade cards. Either way it looks like a lot of fun!
I don't think mixing cards that benefit attacking with one creature and cards that benefit attacking with many is a good idea. same is true for cards that trigger when you attack and those that trigger from being attacked, it is better to focus on what kind of strategy you want most and not just jam different cards that isshin happen to synergize with
Interesting to see your take on this. I built an Isshin commander deck shortly after Kamigawa Neon Dynasties dropped and it is fun to play. A little surprised not to see Ulamog's Crusher not get a mention. Doubling annihilator triggers is another evil thing Isshin can do.
