I pay 10k peso 185$us for my house up in Valencia Negros it’s a modern home screened in patio room outside covered concrete parking 200 meter lot with concrete wall around it you can find nice homes up here outside Dumaguete everywhere

I was living there the same time and lockdowns were ridiculous. Heard they arrested an American for refusing to wear a mask while driving a motercycle. We had to wear one in our car but only worried about it when seeing a checkpoint coming up. Definetly looks like a very good deal.

I saw a another commenter ask and I am also asking, is that road big enough to get a Toyota Corolla hatchback or Honda Civic hatchback down that road.. there is a name for those smaller hatchbacks but I cannot think of it..I would tweak that place and make a little Paradise out of it.. big screen TV in the bedroom and a big comfortable couch in the living room that pulls out into a bed.. also a couple of recliner chairs.. a few other odds and ends.. I wish you would have showed more of the outside.. I cannot tell if I had a place to put my outside cooking stuff and set up a outside cooking area.. what do you think about the road and about the outside area for cooking? Thanks 👍👌😎🤗

Just one question?--the access road seems narrow--do you think a small car (like Old Dog Paul has) would "fit"? The No Dogs is nice too for a more quiet location--I only heard one rooster crowing--does one get use to that over time?

I remember when you were living there.. plenty of room and a marvelous kitchen.. I am from south Louisiana and I cook all of the good south Louisiana food and I love to eat it also.. all I need is a fresh market and a few pots and pans and I have a gourmet meal whenever I want it and that is usually every day or night.. most of the kitchens in the Philippines are too small but i will have to add on tables for cooking and prep area.. I am looking for a place and also I need room outside to put my cooking stuff cuz I do a lot of outside and the dirty kitchens are actually not enough room for me but I can make anything work.. I will have no problem adapting to the Philippines.. yes I go back with you a long way.. it has been an amazing journey, hasn't it😮😅😊

I also wanted to ask--were the windows screened (to keep the bugs out)? I couldn't tell from the video, especially for the bathroom window where it appeared that no screen was present but I'm not sure about that.

I was headed to davao next month from the usa but what ive been seeing is dumagete is so much cheaper and affordable. I might be switching gears. Lol

I don't like the idea of guests walking through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Not keen on '70s kitchen blue colour either. I guess that could be painted over. Pool is nice though. But at that price, its an absolute bargain. How far from the beach is it?

Update Gio,I just ot my passport in the mail today. So I'll be in the Philippines in just about 6 months. Me and Jean are gonna take boats to from Minila heading towards Cogyon de oro ware her mom lives .will be exploring the whole way through. Will reach to you when we get to Dumagete .

Wow ! that would have been what I wanted especially the pool as this April/May was a killer re humidity Gio and I would need a pool or close to a beach, that apt will not last long , aim to return to the Philippnes and Dumaguete is the plan, sad to hear prices are going upwards re rentals , N Z house prices are decreasing but not far and fast enough ! ha ha bought a place for 85K in a small town where I grew up, like 3 years later selling for 320K ! where was that crystal ball Gio !?
