I mentioned before in another video, but it's worth mentioning again, you stated that Thailand 🇹🇭 made you realize you could escape the matrix!!! @@thailanddatingguide of course but it’s a matter of some retirement benefits that will be coming through for me in the next few years. It’ll make a big financial difference and I’ll be well positioned to live comfortably there.

Especially when you're going toward retirement, it's smarter to wait a bit and live comfortable than go too soon and have to figure stuff out while there. Myself, I'm just 39 years old. So too young to think about retirement, but too old to just take some sort of gap year, if that makes sense. So preparing yourself is the smart move. Have a great weekend by the way.

@@thailanddatingguide yes I think you’re right that at 39 taking a hiatus would probably be bad for your career. I’m 55 (THAT happened somehow) and I’ve been at the same job almost 20 years. I’m fully vested so I could potentially really reap some good rewards. If stayed in the US retirement would have to wait much longer. If I go to Thailand it could happen sooner and be better in many ways anyway. I’m pretty healthy and don’t look my age. I’d like to retire while I can still do some quality living! You have a great weekend as well bro!
