Nice homes! So the HOA is around $1,300 US per year for the first home? How much are the property taxes? And, do you have an idea of the say the average utility, water, garbage bill for 2 people? Thanks Amanda!
Correct. Property taxes are anywhere from $200 to $500 USD per year depending on the square meters of the property. Electricity can be $50 to $200 per month, also depending on size of property, how much you use or if you have solar panels. Water is around $20 to 50 per month but will sometimes be included in HOA fees, and as I've seen, garbage is always included in HOA.
Not sure if you know the answer but when the brick on the boveda ceiling is painted white, can it be restored to the natural brick? Love your videos (and the red lipstick!)!
Thank you! :) I haven't known of anyone to restore it back to the original color, and I'm sure it's no easy feat. The catalan arches, most commonly seen, are sometimes painted because they're usually found on lower ceilings and tend to retract light rather than reflect it, making a room darker (opposed to being painted white and making it brighter). I have never seen a boveda ceiling painted and would nearly call it a sin to do so.
