Good review! Very insightful. This lens would be a great deal, but the needing to calibrate it to the rangefinder is such a dealbreaker. It feels like paying for an unfinished product. Damn shame.
It’s easy peasy on a digital such as the M8. So, if you’re a film shooter find a friend with a digital M. I’ve only had mine a month and it’s tack sharp wide open ✌️
@@AntnieI see you stopped making videos not long after you ditched the Sony for Fuji video. I thought some Sony fanboys put out a hit on you 😅. Good to see otherwise. 😆
Nuce video. How's Things With You? Covid Where I Am Were In Lockdown Till October. I Got My Covid Vaccine. How About You? Hope your ok after circa passing. My late cat tabby is in 3 days time.
Thanks for the video. My opinion based on the photos you uploaded is that this lens is very average, I see neither good performance nor character (I made sure I set the video to 4K), maybe it is better on a digital body? This is probably an inexpensive way to enjoy a Leica M body camera?
The photos on the zoom might turn out a little less sharp, and might be darker or blurry if zoomed all the way. The zoom ones are probably better as a single camera to bring on a vacation or trip. Since it can get more types of photos, wide angle, medium length, and telephoto
Hi Jeffery, I too get the two companies mixed up. I have not tried the TTartisan 35mm 1.4, so I can’t say. Though I have used the 7Artisans 35mm 1.4, which optically is a far superior to this 35mm f2.
@@Antnie wow, thanks a lot:)cause i got a 50mm f0.95 of ttartisan and is more than i imagined,i think images by these lenses are really nice even when comparing to the native lenses. i will consider your opinion, have a good day!
