I wanna reach that point in life where I can just spend 3000 bucks on cards without thinking about it

total value was ~$1500. Box 5 was best value at ~$270. Box 7 was worst at ~$95

this is a crime at $3000

I'll never forget my experience with 2XM 2022. Got 13 Etched Anguished Unmakings in a couple of boxes and had to send it all back to WOTC for product replacement. They sent back Foil etched Dockside, Mana Vault, Phyrexian Altar among others.

I remember when Wrenn came out too. Drafted a box of MH with friends and opened one draft weekend. Traded it for a OG Judge Foil Vampiric Tutor and some other random stuff.

The full art foil of Dockside is still up around 80 dollars. Edit : Also not a single Imperial Seal in the whole case...and no textured. Those might be some cards worth investing in

I loved collecting this set. The first pack I got was a collector's pack and I pulled a textured Wren and Six. And really made me want to buy more packs.

$200 a box was an excellent deal, I saw people on peer to peer Facebook pages getting just below that even. I think $1500 for a 8 case was the cheapest I saw…

I also opened recently one pack of this product and I got few good hits, I have one more pack and this video makes me want to open it.

My main problem with Double Masters was that almost all the cards came "pre-damaged." You can see clear white chips on the edges of the borders of a lot of cards, like the Force of Negation around 14:15. I've gotten pushback from buyers for trying to sell these as "near mint" even though they were sleeved up right after coming out of packs. Wizards has such trash card quality.

Why would Rudy sugarcoat such BS product (the collector box.)? The price is an outrage, we all knew that the value of the cards would drop like a rock. If you wanna crack open a few boosters, go ahead and get a couple of regular draft boosters and be done with that itch. Other than that stick to the singles.

This was honestly not a bad opening compared to other case openings on YT. On EU market 1500- 1700€ range I would think. Or about 200€ return per box, maybe a bit less. Not too bad with 240€ per box on the open market I would say. compared to other sets of 2022 ~ 20% loss on opening sealed is not too bad I suppose. After all with opening sealed product you always expect a certain loss financially.

I think KND was a positive in 2022 as well.

so i dont look at card prices anymore and havent in awhile, i sold the last of my set earlier this year....i didnt have a big collection due to i only really played pre release's and bought a couple commander decks and a few packs. i cant believe how much this sets singles have dropped......in theory of the complete set this should have been a home run. the textured card that is 1 for case on avg barely even have a premium on them

Double Double was a huge disappointment because of the horrible hit or miss the collector pks are, this video showcased it very well. 80% of the pks were like 10-30$ value. That's a big problem for pks that cost 70$/pk ...so bad.

Awful lot of bounce lands in those packs. I'd understand if these were draft packs, but they should take draft chaff out of collector packs. I typed this comment, so I could be ready to post it after I finished watching the video, and immediately after I finished writing it at 9:58, he opens a pack with four of the little Greg Fockers in a row. A lot of sleeper cards in this set at uncommon common level. Those foil borderless bolts are absolute gems. Good luck getting a playset of them in a few years for less than $100

Honestly everytime Rudy opens one of these I don't feel that well (mister stark ;)). My problem with these boxes is they basically devaluated the game's currency. As a German in our collective memory the idea to "just print more" is not remembered that well. I remember Kaladesh and how hard it's been to pull one fullart and I see the draft boxes. Looking at these boxes it just does not fit. Wizards so openly does the economics 101 move to grab the maximum amount of money, at least short term and showes no respect to the value of their own cards by printing and printing an d printing them. Makes me somewhat sad. I stay the course still I will diversify more and hope to dodge the "cardbord inflation". I think we are lucky that the dynamic duo is not running the federal reserve, I don't know how but they would make it worse. Good day to all of you!
