Guys!!!! Welcome to an already uploaded video. Trying to consolidate my channels.
♥️♥️Brief Description ♥️♥️
Stella wanted me to crochet her a dupe of a $300 cardigan she loved from Free People. Given the fact that I don’t craft for others, was not gonna spend countless hours crocheting so she forgets this cardigan in a friends house. Found this blanket at the thrift store for $3 and the rest is history

I loved this video, Marilisa! You did an amazing job with the cardigan and I hope your daughter doesn’t leave it at a friend’s house! You should make one for yourself, too.

What I really enjoyed was how you shared the challenges you had .. and how you approached them.... Real time sewing... This gave me the incentive to try it and know if it challenges me... Walk away for a bit and re visit . Your jacket looks amazing.. I'm going to the thrift store.... And know that my expense will be minimal yet the time make it will be worthwhile!

I just found your video after searching for tutorials with information on how people are finishing the seams to prevent the blanket from unravelling. Thank you for all the in-depth explanations and process! Now I just need to thrift a blanket!

Yes you need to find a blanket asap!! I was worried about the edges as well. The bias binding was a great solution!

It is a great idea! That blanket, if no one would buy it from the thrift store would end up in the garbage. Now, it's something really special and a treasure. I love it! You are so clever! Your daughter is going to love it.

Well, how truly amazing & innovative are you!!! When I first saw your challenge, I thought, my, my, this will be interesting………. I crochet & sew & this would have been a huge undertaking, matching up everything & with the yarn being so thick . However you tackled this like a true champion, the finished jacket is just amazing. Beautiful! This blanket went from junk to treasure. You need a handmade by ___ tag in there. Easy to add a ribbon to cinch the waist, or a toggle button for the front... so many ways to wear it. Wish my grandmother's wool afghans could find new life like this. I fear someone will just rip them apart for the wool yarn and all those years of crafting will be lost.
