(New shells, battery, screen etc) and I wrap them and give them to my siblings parents or grandparents. @@noahkoenen3053 androids are slow and they dont have good graphics which means they cant play games at all and if they can its slow and the only reason the screen doesnt break on androids is because there screens are made of cheap plastic not glass and an easy solution to the glass is to not be stupid and get a good case and a screen protector so in my opinion apple is far superior. and dont even try to say im a fan boy because i used androids for years and then switched to apple and found apple 20 times better in quality performance and looks

Take everything apart :-) Thats how I (and many others) made their start in the trade. There are also many tutorials on YT, wish I had had the opportunity back then. Good luck!!

fining a good supplier for aftermarket iPhone parts is a challenge for me at least. So frustrating to get junk parts not to mention stuff like replacing the screen on an iPhone X with an aftermarket screen, the screen won't work when you do the next IOS update. Thanks Apple.

@@MrTimdtoolman1 Yea, quality parts for newer iPhones. Nightmarish. I had a customer's iphone X charging port stop working. He came in, I figured oh, simple enough. May take a while but should be easy. I bought 3 ports from 3 different sellers, because I never replaced a port on an X before. The first one literly looked like someone tried to fix the connector with solder, it was awful because it was supposed to be new, probably was one someone returned and was given that after they tried to fix it. Anyway back to my point, the two other ports both did not work(two different sellers) and it would charge fine, but the phone would shut off every 2-5 minutes and restart. The only way to fix it was to use an original apple part from a part phone. Well fortunately the next day after this fiasco, I was able to buy an iphone x from someone and the port worked fine in the customers phone. Maybe bad batch but I need to test more ports to find out if it has to be apple parts or if I have to to a restore to make it recognize it without restarting

@@Madrista10Raul Here is how the structure is. Ever since apple introduced touch I'd on any apple device. That button is tied to the motherboard by apple from the factory with a $600,000 or so device that they will not sell or allow anyone but them to use to pair the devices. Once your home button breaks, if it is any of the iphone 6's and down, touch ID functionality will not work and apple will have to pair it if you want that functionality. Now for the iphone 7 and up, stopping at X when they removed the button. If the home button is damaged and stops working, a replacement button will serve no purpose other than to fill the empty hole if it was gone. The physical button on the 6's and back will still click to go home or close apps, but on the 7 and 8, the plus accordingly. The home button does not click anymore and uses haptics for the effect. The back of the button is a tiny screw securing it to the home button plate, so any movement is that plate either flexing or loose screws inside. If it ends up not working, replacement parts do not serve any purpose, you will be stuck using the assistive touch. Many people end up trying to repair their 7's, and 8's and tear the cable for the home button. Rendering it useless until you can find someone to try to repair it, using microsoldering, or get apple to do it. So as far as the replacement LCD's. Get them from a reputable seller and higher cost will almost always pay off in the quality of the screen and lower failure rate. Just transfer the original button and take great care as you do it, dont forget a little bit of heat on the front of the glass will soften the glue holding it down. I highly suggest checking out ifixit and their tutorials that they have. They explain alot very well. Just often dont mention discharging the board is all. But I try to practice it religiously to ensure any chips on a board dont fry due to not doing something as simple as holding a button down for a few seconds. Anyway, best wishes on your repairs. Take your time, that's most important. Ps. Most replacement screens dont come with a home button.

@@Madrista10Raul home button functionality should still work after a lcd replacement. Depending on the model, different things may be stopping it from working. First reseat all connections then if that doesnt work, check for damage to any button cables or missing pins on any male connector. As far as replacement lcd and weather you should just replace the glass. If you are doing the repair, replace the entire lcd and glass combined. If your lcd is fine, you can ship it off to someone to remove the old glass and place a new glass on for you, using special machine equipment. The option is always up to you, but the amount of work to replace just the glass is alot without the equipment. Also you will need some uv curing glue. Tried and true, easiest and quickest is to get a high quality screen and replace the assembly. That is how a majority of screen replacements are done.
