Well presented, thanks a lot! Got the same bike 3 years ago for 400 € and run through some of the same issues, like the airbox beiing in the way to remove the carbs for cleaning. My main problem are untight, worn connections from the airbox to the carb and from there, the tubes with steal inlets leading into the engine. They are very rigid, but I unfortunately can't find any new or rebuild ones, not even in Japan or Europe. Another problem ist the battery beeing flat gain after the second replacement. I now think about replacing the voltage regulator as last guess. But I was driving the first couple of k's, so I am still motivated for this summer! I hope you keep going and show some of the solutions you find when fixing the bike together again! Chears, Reinhard
I think anyone that wants to buy an older bike should give your videos a watch. It takes a lot of effort to get these old bikes into safe, rideable shape. Keep up the good work my guy. Not sure how I found your channel, but I am having a blast.
Yep, I would encourage anyone who wants to take off one or two pieces to repair to do that, but completely disassembling and trying to fully restore is just an insane amount of work
