they did an estimate and said that the house if it you were to build it today would cost around $150-$200 million then probably another couple million for all the landscaping

The house is a replica of Vaux Le Vicomte, in the Loire valley in France that was built by Nicolas Fucet during the time of Louis the XV. It's a poor reproduction at best and I would characterize the building as a "Travesty of an Architectural Nightmare"... It's so sad when someone lacks imagination... In this case "imitation is not the highest form of flattery". The juxtaposition of the gardens are on the wrong side of the building the entire layout is in reverse. Whomever designed this appears to have been missing their left hand and right foot.

Complètement d’accord avec vous, c’est raté, c’est moche, même si on me le donnait, je n’irai pas je n’irai pas l’hôtel Lambert appartenu à la famille Rothchild de son lit de la cité. Un prince arabe voulait le racheter pour faire quelque chose de complètement mis transformer monstrueux, mais finalement ils n’ont pas eu le droit car il y a eu des protestations et ce bâtiment est absolument fabuleux aussi

If you'd take a few minutes & study the history of Georgia Vanderbilt you'd discover he along with Frederick Law Olmsted & Gifford Pinchot created the US Forrest Service to preserve our forests. They pioneered modern farming techniques & George bought the nearby town of Biltmore for people to live. He started the furniture industry in North Carolina & along with his family funded Vanderbilt University. George's wife Edith sold over 100,000 acres to the government after his death so they could create the Mt Pisgah National Forest. ❤️🙏
