Then I plugged in a guitar. I decided to give it a goa My next door neighbour said 'hey I've got an old amp that I don't use, would you?' I said 'sure' and he pulled out a destroyed brown box with some know on it Remember no history or knowledge about the amp All I knew was what I could see, and what I saw was falling apart. My God the tone is incredible. Pure deep like a loving musical hug. Then I noticed that the pots were dirty, so I went online to look for an instructional video. I saw how much these are new, and I was like, no wonder. Worth every penny. I'm probably going to take the to a repair shop and get the facade to match the guts. I'm so fortunate to borrow this amp.
I've had an older one of these for a while. It is a good all-in-one unit but I was never overly happy with the sound. I am now using an LR Baggs Align Session pedal in front of the amp and find that to be a real improvement in the over all sound. Worth a look.
I’m a beginner and really play mostly worship music. I don’t play to gig or sing but I like the Bluetooth option on it for a backing track or even playing with the song while I practice. How well does it work for that? Still a clear sound. I’m playing a Martin D10e
I suppose it depends. I would love a better guitar for recording at home but I only do that for Instagram so I doesn’t matter. It makes more sense for me to have an amp and guitar instead of just an expensive guitar.
@@hoffguitars479 Nice. When you said cheap microphone were you talking about the one it comes with? I may upgrade eventually but even just the mic stand and mic cord are worth the extra $30. I would like to get the padded gig bag too. We’ll see.
@My Camel yeah I was talking about the mic that came with it (sennheiser e825) I don’t dislike it and it was good value but it lacks some clarity. Still really happy with the purchase. I bought this package for the purpose of doing coffee shop gigs but won’t have a chance to use it out until January. I plan on making a follow up video.
Thanks for a great video! I'm interested to know how you've felt with this amp during gigs you've done. I'm about to start playing some gigs in coffeeshops and small bars, and I need to get an amp or PA system that will enable me to do this.
