The Fishman Loudbox Mini with Bluetooth is the portable acoustic amp you’ve been waiting for. It may be small, but it delivers big, natural-sounding amplified acoustic tone. At 60 watts, the Loudbox Mini features two channels with Fishman’s popular preamp and tone control designs. And thanks to built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can bring in backing tracks or other accompaniment to your performances. There’s also a digital reverb and chorus for the instrument channel and reverb for the microphone channel. This small-but-powerful acoustic amp also features an Aux input and a balanced XLR DI output - great for playing along to or capturing your live performances.

I found a ©LOUDBOX mini at a thrift store. (not blue tooth), Cost me $25.00 and it was in perfect operational condition. The vinyl was well warn, but the metal finish was perfect and unscratched. Can't believe this was passed over by other shoppers. And did I mention it only cost $25.00.00!!!!!!! LOVE this thing with my Taylor!

Just bought this amp and it’s fantastic! As a songwriter/performer this is such a nice and welcome addition. I absolutely love the reverb and chorus option(s). My Gibson J50’s signal from it’s LR Baggs Anthem sounds amazing coming through this little amp! Money well spent for time well wasted🎶

The Loudbox mini just cannot be beat. If it could, others would have already done it. It's a phenomenal little acoustic amp. There's a reason, more than one actually, that its the most popular and best selling amp in the world.

There are so many demos of this and it's non-battery sibling, and practically no one sings through it, they just demo the guitar. The vocal portion is half the damn thing's functionality.

Worked well for a bit over a year for occasional practice. Started dying out after about ten minutes of use and Fishman never replied to any of my emails or chat requests.

You should mention that in order to pair you need to keep the Bluetooth button depressed for 10 seconds until rapid blinking of the light is seen 👍🏼

The better the amp the better must be the player. I like it very much.. the dome tweeter is a must for me.. but as beginner I can't use it, i create lots of feedbacks.

@@DanBurrosoI keep forgetting a guitar plugged into an amp is an electrical system. Always struggled with feedback, unwanted noise, etc. All I had to do was take a few steps back/reposition myself

mine's an old model loudbox mini without bluetooth .. so i bought a bluetooth receiver and plug it into the 3.5mm aux input at the back .. now, my old loudbox mini is as good as this model ..

Anyone know what these are like with a nylon strung classical guitar. Are they warm enough. Cant imagine much bass response from such a small unit. All these demos are of steel guitars getting strummed.

Sounds great solo, but a band makes you turn it up. With effects it begins to sound muddy. Just got mine and love it, so I am trying to find the right settings. My issue is using Bluetooth. Not enough info with the amp!

is there any plan to release a version with updated bluetooth? no question this is a quality amp, but I have a hard time paying full price when it is still using bluetooth 4.0 - who knows for how long that will be backwards compatible. I'm on the fence of buying new, with the bluetooth (but only 4.0) or buying used (most of the used ones I see are pre-bluetooth). thoughts?

I can pair my Android to my new mini but I can't get RU-vid music to play through. Are only certain files allowed?

Hi, Tony. I wouldn't think the amp would be able to designate file type. In other words, if it can be streamed over Bluetooth, it should come through the amp. I have one of these amps. I haven't used it just yet, but it does sound great when I heard it demoed at my local music store. I'll be getting a fishman matrix blended mike pickup in my martin d18. I'm sure it will sound great paired with this amp. There is a case that you can get with this amp. I highly recommend it, so no damage happens to the amp. If you are looking for an amp to get, then grab this one.

If I do a vocal mic, and then my acoustic guitar, can I use the AUX input for my mandolin (coming from a a preamp). Does the AUX get the effects?

Hi, Bob. The Aux input is designed for playback from phones or other media devices. It won’t work with instrument inputs, either direct in or from a preamp. If you need to plug in more than one instrument and mic, you’d probably want to looking into a small mixer and connect that to a powered PA speaker. Thanks for your interest! Hi, Gilles. The Loudbox Mini has a Bluetooth receiver built into it so you should be able to stream audio from your laptop through the amp. It does not have a transmitter so if you’re trying to get audio from the amp into the computer, that won’t work. Thanks for your interest! The housing on mine started peeling after just two years. I love the superior sound but the amp now looks like hell even though I have taken meticulous care of it. I was going to buy another one with the battery charge feature but now I'm leery of it. I wonder if Fishman is even aware of this problem.

Given the timeline of your post and reference to having the amp a minimum of two years earlier - i would assume you're using the older vs without Bluetooth that predates this. One of the explicitly cited major changes on the Fishman website (and noted in other reviews) is a better, more durable construction, meant to last for road warriors too (though I would hope they'd be using the Artist or performer, instead of mini). The entire updated line features improvements in durability/construction. I grabbed one of the minis today - but only because they didn't have any of the Loudbox Artists in stock (and I can return the mini within 45 days, so once I can get my hands on the artist or performer, the mini will be returned). I couldn't find any of these current models used online (I was searching for the Artist), which led me to believe this had launched at the beg of this year (2023), or the end of last year for the holidays. When I found out the updated line was released years ago, yet was still impossible to find the most current models used - in any condition, that told me it's def the amp to get for my Taylor 414ce custom. People don't seem to be holding onto them. Can't wait until my L.R. Baggs Align Session Acoustic pedal comes this week. Throwing my taylor through that and a Fishman amp should be ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

Compatibility with the output jack of your acoustic electric guitar is something to consider. We sell a GPP151 adapter so the transmitter doesn't extend straight out of the guitar. My Android pairs but I can't play music from RU-vid. Maybe it can't use that. There really isn't enough info out there to explain this bluetooth usage for older folks like me.

the housing uses cheap paint from china....after a couple of years it just starts peeling like a cheap plastic couch made with PLEATHER!!!..very dissapointed....go with a Fender acoustic Amp

You can send it back as I did and they sent me a new amp which I was shocked. They confirm it’s a product defect. Won’t matter how long you had the amp.

It's a terrible amp for akoestic guitars. I tried it with several guitars with different pickups ( LR Baggs , Fishman ). First : there is an annoing high frequency wich you can't get rid of , even if you turn your high tone knob to zero ; this makes your sound cold. Second : the mid tone knob is a disaster ; you don't want that kind of frequency in your sound. What's left : the bass , this makes a weird sound in combination with the other tone settings. The result is a cold , not warm sound which sounds much to electric . I compared , for a joke , with a little Ibanez Troubadour ; this one had a much warmer , akoustic sound with nice low end and controllable high tones . I was amazed : An Ibanez Troubadour ........😅😅😅

No issues at all. My duo partner heard mine...when we started our music duo and he's way more technical than I am...and so he wanted one. Then a friend wanted mine...after I wanted to get the Bluetooth one. Now...my brother is about to get one ...and he's been gigging for over 10 years. He borrows mine...as it's so much more convenient than his PA, when hes in town. The sound is superb. No issues w any of them.
