More power to both of you. And yes seiko is a great brand. I have one which I bought twenty five years back. It is a quartz watch but still it is a sentimental piece for me. Works perfectly

Seiko/Orient are the mechanical watches for the everyman. Beyond that you need to be an enthusiast. For quartz I'd go Swatch, Timex, or Casio.

Cartier Tank is my most expensive piece. I think I'm done collecting watches! I'm happy to watch videos on other people's collections
