Watching these scambaiting videos are hilarious because there usually isn't a single thing in the scammer's script that is based on the reality that anyone lives in, but then I watch Jim Browning's videos and I'm absolutely shocked at the number of people who believed the illogical nonsense.

Gina Harrison my gma was in the early stages of dementia. Someone called her and told her she won the lottery but had to pay taxes on it to collect it. We think she did a wire transfer. Once she fell for that we think they likely called again and again until my aunt realized what was going on. unfortunately once my aunt (who is older herself and doesn’t use the internet etc) grasped what was going on that money was long gone. We did notify law enforcement and the postal inspector but there was really no recourse.
