The show did her dirty in some edits. I am so glad she came on so she could explain. It made me like her so much more. She is a fighter, and she deserved the win ❤️

I’ve rewatched Episode 7 & 8, and regardless of video editing, we cannot ignore the actual voiceover summaries from Roland, Trey and Ashley, along with Roland saying “I don’t mean to call shots for anyone, but I think it’s only fair if someone else steps up.” (After Trey jumps twice) The acknowledgement of someone (I think Mikie saying “it’s one each guys” or Chad asking “so noone’s passing? She’s (Ashley) not going to jump up?” Then Elliot stated “she didn’t say a damn word either. that’s on Ashley, that is.” And continues to reiterate the 50/50 plan and it’s fairness. Implying that Ashley is not sticking to the plan. It was only until Ashley was at the front of the line that, in her words, she “can no longer hide.” You can’t ignore any of Ashley’s voiceovers after that either. If Trey jumped at his own discretion and failed to pressure Ashley to stick with the 50/50 plan, that’s on Trey. But the overall frustration comes from Ashley’s initial strategy, thought process, and then the frustration of the aftermath regarding Mai and her decision to call Ashley out. I don’t think Ashley understood that the 50/50 plan was in her favor as a lower number. She says “I’m not sacrificing myself when I already have a low number.” Does she not understand with her plan Trey would not be able to make it across forcing her number to be next in line?! Ashley says, “she’s confused as hell.” And I have to agree. Even after all of that why would she expect anyone else to overtake her if she “never agreed to that plan.”

I'm glad Mai cleared up the bridge situation. I knew those edits were misleading but I also knew there was some truth to her decision as to why she blasted Ashley. ✊🏿

I've. Been. Waiting. And I'm not disappointed ❤ I decided to apply for season 2 because of Mai.

Thanks Dawwgh for all the interviews, really enjoyed listening! I only feel like the Ashley/Mai controversy is still a little foggy. It's clear there has been editing and there was misscommunication going on and stuff. But still Ashley and other people have been saying things on the bridge which cannot have been edited. Ashley did have the oppertunity to over take Trey and either way for her it was still a 50/50. Wish you had pinned down the other players a bit more down on the things being said on the bridge and interviews post bridge.

Ashley only took her turn after she felt like she had no other choice it wasn’t until then that it was convenient for her for everyone else to follow the plan for her🙄 even when she didn’t with Trey.

Trey is completely safe after the glass bridge since he already made his jump if they follow the pact. Ashley did not make her jump at first. She only did it when it was her ass on the line.

Oh I just love Mai! And I most enjoy these interviews where you obviously have a personal connection to and affinity for the interviewee! If you are selected to be on the next season I’ll be rooting for you, D’Andre! I love the sweet respect you have for Mai and her wisdom and humility…I see that in you too! And your “on air” personality sometimes reminds me so much of my oldest son in the videos he did while working at AFN Tokyo ❤😊 It was also very eye-opening when she explained some of the edits!…all to create drama for the watchers! Dirty tactics.

I don't understand why nobody pressed the round button. I would have pressed it just for the fact that most buttons are Round. It would just feel weird pressing a triangle or square Button. So I definitely would have won that game.

I think Mai was truly deserving of her win of Squid Games. She played eloquently, is a team player, and she is mentally tough. You can never make me hate Mai 🔥🙌🏼🫶🏼❤
