This is a Japanese house tour for a $4 Million Tokyo home. Inside of this Modern Japanese home you'll fine some unique rooms and appliances only common to Japanese houses. Although this Tokyo House is a modern Japanese home it still has some traditional Japanese elements . This is what a typical Japanese family may build if they were looking to build their own modern house in Tokyo or even a modern house in Japan. Intended as a 2 Generation house it is pretty unique compared to the rest of the world. I hope you liked this modern Japanese home tour.
Not a sponsored video, but Hebel Haus were kind enough to let us inside to share their model house with you guys.

@@AmicusAdastra Not.. really. Even as an European, that genuinely looks like an average-sized living room, kitchen, etc. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen bigger kitchens, bedrooms and even work rooms in various apartments across my country. I love the design of this house, but it's not big at all - in fact, it feels way too cramped for two families. Can't imagine living there like that. Kappa I think your comparison doesn’t add up. People have a choice when they are buying a car, no matter which part of the world they live in. It can’t be the same when applied to buying a house. You can only choose from the options available to you- so yes these people are paying market price for I assume a reasonably priced home of that standard in Tokyo. If you want to scoff at the price to proportion, then look up expensive homes/mansions in your country and proceed to do it.

+SpotMe Not really. Charleston SC has a higher cost of living than the average in the USA. In the outlying areas (where I live, abut 20 mins from Charleston) I own a 2600sqft, 5 bedroom, 3 bath on .1 acre for 215k in a very nice neighborhood. My town-home (1400 sqft) that I rent out was purchased for 115k. Just because it isn't California or a large city doesn't mean it 'is in a place where no one wants to live' considering Charleston is gaining 48 additional residents daily, making it one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

I am not sure about that. If they absolutely cannot take care of themselves, sure. But they do have their own kitchen here. Which violates the basic principle of growing up, getting married and living your own life. So if anything, we can look at it as the GRANDPARENTS’ HOUSE and the child and grandchildren live upstairs. As much as I love my parents and respect my wife’s I would never live with them in the same house. Once you become a husband and father, you just cannot be the son anymore as much.

it kind of puts into perspective how the cost of this house can be similar to a lot of very nice mansions in the US, but that since less land is available, the land itself ends up costing a lot more in Japan, regardless of particular location; you could find a house in Calabasas for a similar price with a full sized pool, massive yard, and basketball court, and full modern amenities, but that’s in the US where there’s just a lot more land in general.
