$4 NAPA Oil Filter for a Kawasaki Twin Engine as Found in John Deere Lawn Tractors like LT series 

If you have a Kawasaki Twin engine (Mine is the FH500V), such as the ones found in the John Deere LT180, you can buy a $4 oil filter from NAPA vs $8.5 or more from John Deere or Kawasaki (usually around $14.50 on eBay).

NAPA P/N 21394 now selling for ~ $4.00
NAPA P/N 1394 is the Gold version selling for around $8.50
Replaces the John Deere AM107423 as low as $8.50 on Amazon
Replaces the Kawasaki 49065-2078 around $10 + 4.50 shipping on eBay
Frankly, I don't know if the Kawasaki and John Deere versions are equivalent to the Napa standard or Gold versions. The standard is good enough for me.
