Quick update after some miles and highway miles, this set up ends up with a lot of drone when under load. Luckily it is cheap and removable if you end up not liking the added drone. Thanks for the view!
Thanks for the updated and saw your video after Borla and they mentioned those openings are to prevent drone. Glad you called it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zap1hH26eyQ.html
Thank you for the information 👍🏼 I don't think the vehicle's sound will be different much. Perhaps if you raise the engine revs, the sound will change because of increaseing pressure in the exhaust. May I ask you, did you notice the difference when you hit the gas hard?
I enjoy your vids Tyler! Our trucks are practically twins! I'm installing the Hellwig 7883 Rear sway this week to see if it really helps as much as Butterfield says. Curious if you're going to do that mod?
Thanks a lot! So far I'm not planning on the sway bar, but the reduced truck lean would be a really nice feature, I have towed multiple times now and it seems to be very stable. Thanks for the view!
I am planning on getting the GJ Motorsports 3rd brake light/chase light set up so I should have some good lighting up there eventually! Thanks for the view!
It did sound a little rowdier with them covered but did drone quite a bit under load on the highway. I really wish I could hear one with a muffler delete in person with the resonators open, I think that would be the perfect set up. Thanks for the view!
@@TylerPotter I was very surprised to see how much those screens worked. I’m trying to find an exhaust system that sounds deep and throaty just not so raspy. Never been a huge fan of raspy exhaust. I’m looking at AWE at the moment.
@@macshaun93 Not sure if there's any videos of the TRX, but search for Hellcats with stock exhaust except for catless downpipes. It's the exact same tone as the 100% factory exhaust, only the volume turned up. Not even as loud as muffler or resonator delete, but still plenty loud when those valves open, it's fantastic.
