I have a blue yeti on the way and I was scared from some of the silly youtube videos claiming that the blue yeti is bad, but now im reasurred, sounds good
Oh the shure sounds so good 😭😭 the yeti still sounds amazing for 1/4 of the price but the shure is just amazing this video is an example of a great comparison and should be standard lol
I think also one thing to talk about his usb a - c adapter would lower the quality. Blue yeti let’s you use 2 different audio imports (1.AUX 2.USB) if you use USB-A(normal cord) it’s 5 Chanel high audio output. More likely what you want besides using a USB-C adapter, Most computer software won’t recognize the input that way only as a AUX. ❤️ hope this helps
I just ordered the sm7b along with a boom arm and legato wave xlr today and theyre coming tmr. Pretty pricey but I feel like it’ll complete my set up and I like to record simple videos with my mic. Thanks for the vid!
@@derekroberts5931 yeah I do use the Elgato with the sm7b. At first, there was ALOT of noises that were picked up (white noise mostly), but all I did to remove almost 95% of the noises was literally just turning up the gain by a little bit and speaking close to the mic, because your voice will take over the noises. At least that’s what happens to me, ever since then the noises are barely there now.
Shure sounds to sharp for me. (To harsh high end) Yeti sounds warmer and more pleasing and realistic. Normal conversations are never that sharp as the shure. Imho Thanks for the comparison 👍
The shure sounds nicer but not $300 more nicer. I also don’t want to deal with the xlr cables and interface for a while. I’ll stick with the blue yeti for now
The sm7b is better for people who really need it like streamers but I guarantee that no one watching this video is a streamer so blue yeti is the better option.
