A belated happy birthday Alina! It seems to me this is the kind of place you would want to live in abroad long term because its affordable and central to all the places in the world you’d like to travel to as an expat. A comparable apartment in say Calgary or mid town Manhattan in NYC is going to be expensive and its going to cost more to travel and it won’t be as convenient to get there. With cost of living being consideration, it helps on that front to cut expenses down so you can do more of things you want to do and maintain a high quality of life. Something you might want to do in the future. Thanks for the Airbnb reviews in Kuala Lumpur! Stay blessed.
@@satyabratamohapatra8788 For locals or any other country that has a smaller currency than the Ringgit, yes it is expensive. For a Canadian with a currency 3x bigger than the Ringgit it's considered cheap
Great stuff. KL was the first city I landed in after leaving the USA in 2014 and has special place in my heart. Living in Thailand since 2015 but always enjoy my visits to Malaysia and KL when I can.
What a great place to stay. Very affordable. We spent some time there. Probably our most favorite city in Southeast Asia. Truly, Kuala Lumpur has successfully combined green spaces with great city living . Not to mention, Great food and Entertainment. Wonderful job with this video. You are the best. Love you dearly❤❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki P.S. Give our best to Dad 👏👏
Generally speaking further away from downtown, people can get long term rental for 500 to 800 usd. With similar amenities. Of course you need to travel a bit more if you want to visit downtown. Popular expat locations in kl are: 1. Bangsar 2. Mount kiara Digital nomads will usually look for hostels and go to cafes to do their work. But kl has good workspace accommodations for digital nomads as well.
I travelled and worked throughout Asia during my career back in the late 70s and 80s. Your tours are so informative of the modernization that has taken place and I appreciate your insights and efforts to share these amazing places with us. Thank you.
Thanks you so much for this remarkable video about Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this week in February of 2023 to shows these great places especially the hotel you are now staying in 2023❤❤❤
Wow! Wonderful apartment Alina! It is really elegant and spacious and the view is amazing. The price is affordable and spending a few days there must be magnificent. Kuala Lampur is really nice. Thank you very much for this great video.
Wow, I never knew Kuala Lumpur had such amazing luxury apartment options! Your video was so informative and gave a great overview of what to expect when staying in KL. It's awesome to hear that there are affordable options for travelers and remote workers. The two apartments you showed both looked incredible and it's hard to choose which one I liked more. Thanks for sharing your experience and giving some great recommendations on where to stay in this amazing city!
Although it’s nice and has more than we need, for Kuala Lumpur standards, this is a medium class condo. It’s not a luxury condo. Now figure how the authentic luxury condos are. Amazing!
Alina, you are now the second vlogger to stay at my go to place. The Robertson. Also, don’t tell everyone about the easy 90 day visa upon arriving or that everyone speaks English. 😂 I like KL better than Makati/BGC and Bangkok. I do have a go to place in Bangkok. The Base condos /On Nut Rd. Try that the next time your in Bangkok.
Hi Alina! 😁🙏👋🌟 I hope your having a marvelous day! This is really a excellent fantastic video! 😄👍❤️👏📹🇲🇾🥇💯💫✨🌟 Wow! The luxury apartments look so absolutely amazing! The view of the city looks magnificent from the rooftop! Thank you so much Alina to share with us this marvelous video! You are the best and greatest world traveler adventurer! 😃👍👏✈️🌎📹🗺🥇💯🏆✨🌟 I wish you Alina a wonderful excellent magnificent blessed day. Take care Alina. 😊🙏❤️👋👍✨🌟
Yes happy belated birthday! I have just finished watching all of Tayaukraine's videos thank you for doing interviews with her I enjoyed. Now time to watch your channel.
Alina, have you thought about visiting East Malaysia (Sabah?) It has a different vibe than KL. It has all the modern amenities but also raw nature and less hustle bustle. Kinda like Quebec vs. Ontario. 😄
Yes SABAH is very underrated and can be considered better than Bali,Phuket and Chasing Mai put together!anyway pls enjoy KL as the best city in the world and Malayssia foodie capital of the universe!
Alina choses to live in luxury with very affordable prices. For a digital nomad I don't think you can do much better.A modern lovely city with all the amenities. What's not to love. The walk and talk showed many of the cities great attractions. Looking forward to your more in depth videos. So struggle to get by in your affordably luxurious apartments, before you get to enjoy your somewhat expensive bunk bed in Singapore. Still not as expensive as the one you had in Vancouver, the Canadian difference.
good evening alina. very informative video, as always 👍. the robertson's place is really cool...that pool is actually a lake.😁 enjoy your stay in KL...good job. Best regards from the Philippines 🇵🇭.
Beautiful apartment and kitchen! Kitchen is essential whenever I book an apartment on Airbnb because I like to cook my own (Italian) food and have a break from restaurants
No other cities in South east asia is affordable than kl with such facilities(infrastructure). Why? 1. We are a major electronic components maker, therefore, electronics are cheaper here. 2. We are a non-opec member, ron95 for example is rm 2.05 per litre 3. Of course salary is lower here compared to western and singapore standard
