I finally bought my 2014 Ram 1500 Sport yesterday and the first stop was to get some paint and then harbor freight for the Dremel tool to do the honeycomb hood inserts. Best Ram channel on YT hands down.

Hey boosted I' love plastidip too,but I found some cool high heat black enamel that says it resists heat up to 1200 degrees , from rustoleum at home depot ,I painted my custom dual exhaust system and tips on my HEMI charger and it's holding up great,the gloss is like 6 bucks a can ,and the flat black is under 5 bucks a can ,check it out peeps ,it's basically the same high heat paint that VHT sells for like 12 bucks a can .peace out !

Never even thought about dipping the tail pipes looks I think I will do mine when I do my grill this week

Mine were $8 a peice with the install of my 50 series flowmaster. Exactly the same stock size, and style just black. I'm glad I did it. Really helps the chrome delete

I just did this same thing today on my new 2021 ram classic it perfectly match with the granite metallic color awesome video buddy.

The black tips look great. I went the expensive route on mine and got the 5 inch black tips from carven. I found them used so I didn’t pay full price.

Just did my 2016 1500 and it looks awesome. Thought about it before, but thought there might be a heat issue and burn smell like my black Flowmaster. Thanks for the tip!

You should get another ram and mod it for OFF ROAD. Lift, tires, skid plates, light bar, tow hooks, bed mounts for tools, etc etc etc. I'd love to see you start from an Express or something and mod it like that. Yours is definitely the best channel for ram mods. -- haha, I realize I'm telling you too buy an entirely new truck, but hey I can dream right? There would definitely be interest in those videos. I think more people mod for off-road then they do for street. Just a thought:)

Did The same thing myself everything that was once chrome is now black even the tail lights except for those exhaust tips need to get that done

I dipped my tips on my 2016 truck. Had the truck for about a year before selling it. Tips still looked just like they did the first day I sprayed them. I'll probably do my tips on my 2018 now lol

I've got a black out addition 1500 Ram but get this she's got chrome exhaust tips as well chrome tow mirrors. This would be a great way to see if I'd like it permanent. Great video 🍻

Looks awesome with the black on silver. I'm not a big fan of crome, apperantly plastidip is good to over 300 deg. Think I'll be doing my tips this weekend I have the same truck just an 09 slt.

Hey John love the videos man good job. One cheap mod I did was plasti dip the chrome ring on the console. It always reflected the sun light in my eyes. I did that 2 years ago and it's still holding up. Have you done the cabin air filter mod to your ram yet? Also,I have a 2015 ram 1500 and my trim is fading out bad,do you have any tips or tricks to restore trim especially the wiper cowl. Great work can't wait for the next video.

Get a set of Carven 5” , you will not regret it. I just installed a black set and looks sick.

Nice! I've considered doing the same. No way in hell am I paying $200 for some exhaust tips. My Carven muffler wasn't much more. Straight rapage on tip prices.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I've done this twice now and neither time lasted longer than 9 months.

Are you going to add a black gas filler door? It would definitely match the rest of the truck nicely. Just a thought.

Plasti dip is such a pain to get off... I use to have my wheels plasti dip on and lasted for about 2 years until is started to peel
