Lowe’s is starting to take their plant care (indoor and outside garden) in house. They now have a Green Vest MST team and our job is to stock, water, and cull plants. I am a Green Vest and I also write on our clearance plants what might be needed as well as correct the names on the nursery tags when they are wrong. Our Monstera always come in as Philodendrons

Ashley I got a very large Norfolk pine today for 10.00 it is now my Christmas tree for this year. We’re in the middle of remodeling our house and I couldn’t up my tree up and I love my tree I just had to have a Christmas tree I got tiny lights and some small ornaments it looks really pretty if I do say so myself hubby even likes it.

Maybe you could answer this in your next video. I want to try growing a Indian Rope Hoya, or compacta? on a moss pole. Do you think the long vines will eventually grow UP, instead of DOWN? I've tried looking it up, but can't find any info on that question. I love watching you go plant shopping, but sometimes you really like a plant, but don't buy it. I saw one gloriosum at HD yesterday. I decided to sleep on it for the night, because it wasn't in the best condition. I came back for it today and it was gone ! A bit disappointed but also glad that I didn't spend any money.

What size pot was it if you remember by chance? I got a baby gloriosum at HD a month ago for 5.89. Havent seen that size since or at that price at HD but it was exciting to see it and finally have it in my collection. Now I just want it big now haha

@@user-kr911 It was $14.95 and was in the white plastic pot that you commonly see at HD for other plants like ponytails, aglaonemas, etc. I guess it's about a 6"' pot ?

My Lowe’s and HD don’t have nearly as many plants as yours does. 😕 I might run by my specialty nursery tomorrow… I was able to get a wish list plant a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been done with Christmas shopping since last week so I have extra time on my hands, however the weather is very soupie and yucky. Great finds!

I got one those big Alocasia cucullata from home depo for $30. I repotted it into a beautiful dark green ceramic planter and its my new statement piece plant in my living room. I also got one of the variegated mickey mouse alocasias from a local garden center so I'm currently in alocasia heaven.

Ashley, I loved that fan aloe......how unique was that.......just so different than anything I have. That was my fave for sure! I have a southwest motif and it would fit nicely in my house :))
