Paints drying on my bumpers thanks man best 5$ I spent today, also I’m adjusting the tailgate striker just to make sure. I have the rough country as well, with 35’s, I used 1 inch pvc and cut two 3 inch pieces, using a set of bumpers it sits firm against the tire👌🏻 also I sanded down the edges of either end of the pvc to not cut into either rubber pieces

Have you adjusted the bottom tailgate striker? I finally got my tailgate from thumping on big bumps on my JL. Super easy. Just loosen and move the bottom striker bracket out a little. That keeps the tailgate from flexing in and out on bumps. Give it a try if you’re still dealing with that issue
I just got my jeep wrangler and hope this is the rattle. I cant figure it out and havent had a chance to sit back there to hear where it is coming from.

the tire carrier and tailgate isn't built to support the added weight of the bigger tire plus adding the after market tire carrier pushes the tire off the stock stoppers. So when you hit a bump in the road the tire carrier will flex causing the rattling noise in the cabin of the jeep.
