The cotton candy with pancake names "โรตีสายไหม" (Roti Sai Mai); โรตี (Roti) = pancake and สายไหม (Sai mai) = cotton candy and the last one (sweet potato balls) is "ไข่เต่า" (Khai Tao) the colours different but it both made from sweet potatoes

oh man i miss that place.. some fun fact : Ramkhamhaeng is mostly thai from the southern thailand, you can try their chicken rice on the street which is quite famous, 1 of the cheapest market in bangkok because they cater to University school nearby and workers.. this place hardly any foreigner knows, glad u found it

Yes, Ramkhamhaeng Market is really cool and cheap. The name of the cake is Roti mae sai - i ate first at Ayutthaya Night Market :) Really sweet and they made it with hand on this plate. Did you see it? If not, next time should be. Really good videomaterial :)

We call the ball-shaped deep fried snack as "kanom Kai Tao or even kanom Kai Nok krata. Kai Tao means the turtle eggs, while Kai Nok krata means quail eggs.

Its crazy to see this again. I am Thai American and I havent been back to thailand in three years and clicked on this video because I remember eating my cousins somtum there everytime I flew back. Its crazy because you guys bought her corn somtum from her and her fiance . It is so exciting because I called back home and showed her and my family of them on youtube they were super happy and said to come again

Aha..you both are still searching for delicious food around Bangkok again! Remember I met you both at the Food Republic Siam Center on the 4th floor, you were ordering Pad Thai (Again!! haha :-)) You said you love Pad Thai..Yummy yummy. Wow..I love Khanom Krok, Cotton candy, and Thai Fried Sweet Potato Balls (Call khai nok knata in Thai) As you can see, there are two colors. The yellow one is a sweet potato and the other one is a purple potato. Sometimes the light purple is also taro mixed with starch. Okay, I hope you have more and more followers every day to 1 million views!! All the best to you... Jay x

The sweet potato things ,what you had in the end of the video, are called Kai Tao, which mean turtle eggs, named from their feature. I think 😂 They are a made from 2 different kinds of sweet potato, the orange one and the purple one. They quite taste so similar. Have been following you for long time and still watching your videos. Also thanks for sharing our Thai culture. Love your content!😍

Roti Simai (30baht)is my favorite sweet.I used to sell that when I was young.The last sweet that you ate is called Tiger egg. (ใข่เสือ)which made from sweet potatoes.

I call it ขนม(ka-nom; sweet/dessert) ไข่เต่า(kai-tao) which means turtle egg, some call it ขนม ไข่นกกระทา(kai-nok-kra-ta) which means quail egg. so many different name for this sweet haha.

The last one is Kanom Kai Nok Kata (ขนมไข่นกกระทา) which is made by mixing boiled sweet potato, potato starch, all purpose flour and baking soda, then deep fried it. It's one of my favourite Thai dessert!

we call khanom khai tao (turtle egg ) it made from sweet potato and in Thailand we have many kind of sweet potatoes.

@@2Passports1Dream Recommend a little more Thai tea or Thai beverages that are freshly made. Can I have a slightly sweet taste? for beverage shops Fresh style only Some stores already make drinks. You might get too sweet Thai people like sweet taste. Because of the hot weather, they sweat so they need a lot of sweet energy 😂😊

8:23 This is a Thai cotton candy burrito called Ro-ti-Sai-Mai. It is very sweet and has a strange texture. But it's worth a try. I hope you guys try it😊
