I used to think I Wendy’s was low quality. Then I gave it a chance a while ago and was surprised how much better it was than McDonalds. Their items are almost the same price but way tastier and higher quality.
Mhm, my parents like it lot, I still want to taste the pretzel burger, haven't tried it yet. Frosties are nice as well, and they got a snack size for kids which is nice too.
Interesting to see McDonalds franchisees overcharging for the McDouble, which used to be a Dollar Menu item. That’s a really bad look for them right now.
McDouble was McDonald's low budget Double Cheese Burger that's why. The Double Cheese Burger used to be really cheap too until McDonald's raised the price of a Double Cheese Burger so their answer for a dollar menus was The McDouble.
He lives in California. In other places the McDouble deal is still $5. Keep in mind the McDouble has twice the meat of the Wendys jr cheeseburger. Wendys USED to also have a double patty burger deal for $5 but they increased it $6.
It used to be the 4 for $4. A double stack, 4 nuggets, a small fry, and a small drink is now $6. Some locations still have the $4 option but it’s what’s shown in the video except the drink is a kids size instead of a frosty.
Wendys has the best fast food burger for the price. My local one always has nice and fresh lettuce and tomato as well, and that really turns up the burger for me. Also Frosty is goated. Gotta try that berry one.
I've always loved the buttery patties that Wendy's offers, even in their smaller burgers. You can never underestimate them. And if you have the Wendy's app, you can get the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger Biggie Bag for $5 AND add on the Triple Berry Frostee. So a soda and a Frostee! Thank you, Wendy's!
I don’t know if it’s the same elsewhere but at Wendy’s in Texas we have the $6 Texas biggie bag which is the same thing but it’s a junior double cheeseburger with the fixings.
That frosty is the delicious. I had tried it once I tried the orange and I tried the new triple berry Frosty and it was so delicious it taste like yogurt
It’s a good deal, although the last time I got the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, the patty was almost paper thin. They’re already not that big, so I hope that they don’t make them even smaller
Just an FYI you can get a crispy chicken sandwich in the biggie bag too for 5 dollars ans a cheese slice is just like 40cents where as its 89cents in mcdonalds.
At Mc Donald’s if you use the app, and purchase the $5 deal, you can also get free medium size fries on the side, this is included with any purchase as long as it surpasses their minimum purchase of $2 dollars, this applies at most Mc Donald’s locations.
When I was a kid I used a straw, because usually when we went to Wendy's, it was before we started a two hour ride home. So I would eat while waiting for it to soften up.
Funny thing is that this deal still costs $4 at Wendy’s where I live and the nice part is you can upsize the fries and drink for a small amount. I typically get this meal and do a medium fries and large drink and my total is $5.05 and even better is when there’s a coupon like a free 6 nuggets with purchase you can add that to the meal as well.
Wendy's was the original fast food place that did these types of meals too. They even hat that 4 for $4.44 not too long ago. The "news" about Mcdonald's are definitely covert ads prob paid for by McD's.
Protect this man, he is the only one speaking truth. Mc D’s chicken nuggets used to be elite but Spicy nuggs are crunchier, better seasoned and spicy! Their fries are the only weak point, but good enough!
It seems the 5 dollar deal varies by location. By me the mcdouble is $5 just like the mcchicken but we sadly don't have the option for the spicy one for the deal
So the 5 dollar Wendy's meal that goes for 8 dollars is now 5 dollars again. I am getting confused. I just went to my local Wendy's and they no longer accept their App deals anymore.
I switched from McDonald’s to Burger King when I realized that I prefer to have lettuce, tomato, onion on my burgers. If I’m gonna be unhealthy, I might as well be incrementally less unhealthy
