I can't believe it. I had a t-post I'd pounded in very deeply to hold a bee house thing in my garden. I dug and dug and pulled and pulled and couldn't get it out (well, I'm under 5' and 71 years old). I got my handyman guy when he was doing something else to try to get it out, and there was just no way; he gave up after half an hour. I ordered this t-post puller and, within less than five minutes, I had that darned thing OUT! It was bent somewhat on the bottom of the post because I'd hit a tree root when I drove it. I could not believe I was able to get that thing out by myself! This post puller paid for itself on that one post. And now I've got it to help me pull out all the other posts I need to move!

Yep, discovered this tool some years ago. Made such a big difference. I got so excited I started looking all over the job site I was on just to find more to pull.

It looks pretty well built, to me. Seems to work well enough. But that realisation you had as you pulled the first post out was sublime!

It seems to be built well. It is actually quite satisfying to use this tool. 😁

After doing the T-post Cabbage Patch dance too many times to count (if you know you know), I saw this video and immediately hopped over to Amazon to buy one. Gotta love physics!

I move fences around a lot so I've got quite a bit of experience with these. I like the Tractor Supply version the best. It's made of square tube and seems to flex the least in use. There's also enough room to slide a pinch point bar into the handle for extra leverage. I keep a 4' piece of pressure treated 2x12 around to put under the base when the ground is wet or I don't want to tear up a raised bed when taking down trellises. The hook is for pulling round or square posts with a chain. Also good for pulling up tree roots.

You can use the t post driver to pull out a t post. Flip it upside down put the opened end under one of the ribs on th t post then pull back on the post. There are videos on RU-vid. I still like this tool though

I bought one from tractor supply this year and am so happy with it. I don't have to wait on my husband now to help me move the t posts.

Was it hard to pull the lever thing i was wondering im a small guy and dont want to hurt my back again .. these things are so tight in the ground...
@DianeKistner
@DianeKistner 10 месяцев назад
I have back trouble, compression fractures, and osteoporosis, and I'm also 71 and under 5' tall. I found that the lever was at the right height for me to just lean down on top of it with my body weight...actually stretching my back out like doing a back exercise while pulling the post out. It was a snap. And my handyman couldn't get the post out, even digging around it pretty deep. I couldn't believe how well this thing worked! One of the best purchases I've ever made!@@joedevitto6113

This a good tool however if you have a t post driver than you have a remover..turn the driver upside down tilted toward post..push post out and put lip of driver under one of the tabs and just rock it and comes right out

Will this work for a 5' 2" seventy year ol' woman??? You bet your boots it will! Got mine yesterday, they even sent small lady size gloves. I just pulled 15 posts out in less than 2 hours, only 50 to go! Tip for short folks, keep the push lever just above your elbow for the first few pumps, less strain on the back.
@DianeKistner
@DianeKistner 10 месяцев назад
I'm 5' and your age. I just set it so the lever was up a little higher (at an angle, not straight) and laid over the top of it with my body weight, and it was so easy! Didn't really have to use my arms at all until it was almost out.

Yes this looks amazing but since I was pressed for time I came across a 2x4 that accidentally got jammed unter one of the sections protruding from the posts..I came across jamming the 2x4 under one of the knobs and how perfect as I moved the post it automatically hailed the post slower than your tool but effective and working leverage…saved myself mucho Muhla ….thank you for sharing the tool great device and the fact that the post it is NOT BENT…

$50 is probably worth it. Seems a little steep. I used a block and a fulcrum with steel bar.

I wonder if you could put a chain around a 4 x 4 post and pull it? That would be awesome! Maybe that's want the hook is for?

I just the the post setting tool and didn't spend anymore money. Turn it upside down on the ground hooking a tooth...rock the post... this might be better if a post is root bound by a tree
