I knew Eric wasn't going to be able to play at his peak or even his game about half way into the stream when you realize that personas like JRB and others are going to own the social atmosphere at the table. Running hot or cold - he wasn't going to enjoy himself at this table since it's not his ideal environment. Then you add Alan to the game where you have a few characters that are so deep they'll gamble vs. playing it safe with high VPIP without the best hands no the flop, so when they hit - your bluffs are dead. I don't think he'll be back, just a hunch.

One of Petersons tells I think is blind betting. I feel that he does when his hand does not flop well but he wants to make it look like he flopped the nuts. He is trying to say hey I got this I dare you to bet but doesn't give up when opponents call.

Persson had some success with his mouth - putting other players on tilt. He made the mistake of starting to think he was a poker player. He's not much of a poker player. When you're a one trick pony, eventually people figure it out. I'm always intrigued by people who think pocket A's entitle them to win a monster pot. How many of you know what hand plays best against pocket aces in a multi-way pot? It's 5-6 suited. The difference is, the A's tend to win smaller pots, while the 5-6 suited tends to win monsters. And there's Persson going all-in on a naked A-Q, and he's mad when Keating turns 5-5. But Keating didn't need 5-5 to win that hand. All he needed was a single 5. Or a deuce. Why does Persson think A-Q entitles him to win a monster? It's because he's not much of a poker player.
