I had b18 on 15 psi. Around the same power level and i can tell you is great power. If you ahve the right side turbo that it can make power from 3k to 7k you would love it. My advise is .48 trim turbo.
@@SnoozeVert well can you blame them? You pay $30k only to have your V8 American muscle car beat by a tiny little Japanese 4cyl. I mean the hate shouldn't be excessive, but jealousy is expected. Honda doesn't design for raw power, they design their cars for quality and eifficiency. Proper power to weight ratio is a key part of designing an efficient and quality car. And while they're at it, they make their designs simple so you can get even more power if you put some parts into it.

You actually took your time with the install and correctly fitted and built the turbo kit, that's why. Too many people rush to put the turbo on and immediately go to 15+ psi and blow it apart before giving it a chance. There's no reason it should cause issues if you're running 11.5 psi and not driving like a crazy person lol.

Bro you should try to find a way to built a car Sanctuary. Revive cars in a rough shape and then sell them at profit. Or take clients for full builds. They want high power with standard parts, your are respecting the car and the parts, and that's awesome. By the way 310 hp to a 116 to 127 hp original fom the old 1.6 16v.... that is aweso.

You know, I remember seeing the original videos of you building this car when they first came out. To see it in the same condition and running amazing still after a year with eBay kit. It’s amazing to see how you build something with reliability. I’m looking at an 89 civic ef roller to build. This hopefully, God willing, be my first step into building my first car.
Dude this is a super impressive build! I built a custom turbo kit for b18 in highschool. Probably had 2-3k into it and I dynoed it at 170hp. I had a lot more problems than a few exhaust bolts backing out. I had a friend with a b17 swapped into an EG civic and that thing was insanely fast. Wheel spin in 4th gear is insane!!!
I remember watching when you first got that honda and thinking mannnnn i wanna see how this turns out! but now im feeling like I just saw the last episode of a great series 😢 ( but you got more builds so I am hella excited for that) 300 hp is plenty man, you should take it to the track that should run 12s no problem and I know people would love to see that. But man I gotta be honest, your build is inspiring and I feel like I know you, your videos are so personable and its amazing. Thank you, for everything, you inspired me to fully build my car which is a 1.6 106 Peugeot GTI ( or S16 depends the location your at) I'm still figuring some stuff out, but it's coming all together, will push about 300 to the wheels for around 800kilos which is insane, at least I hope so lol. No engine management is usually the problem people buy a 600 dollar turbo kit slap it on and run it on stock settings not ideal standalone is always your first thing after wheels tires and suspension

I like the 1 year review. Lets us know what problems you have had and its nice that you daily the car. A lot of utubers seem to just build the car and dont do much with it afterwards so we dont know what the reliability is like long term

You inspired me to out a $880 EMUSA turbo kit on my 06 RSX type-S. Freakin love it! Yeah it's work and you gotta figure it out, but it's worth it. Thanks for the content bro, and keep it up.
Another great video. I love that you build it yourself using tools and methods most of us use daily. If you ever want to do something on a 1999 BMW 540i, I can supply the car and $$$ for parts to do a project.
Duuude you did it right tho, Im glad you documented and showed everything you did to show people all that it takes, its not just install the kit and done, there is a lot of other work involved to get it to daily status. The tuning is everything. I bet a lot of people who didn't like the results didn't go all in with what it takes.
