$53m CEC Itimpi solar plant commissioned

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has commissioned the 60 megawatt Copperbelt Energy Corporation -CEC- Itimpi Solar Plant built at a cost of over 53 million United States dollars.
President HICHILEMA says the current effects of Climate change have called for diversification of the energy sector.
He says government is focused on improving the economy and requires more energy to run various sectors.
President HICHILEMA says the investment by CEC is a milestone in achieving diversification in the energy sector.
