They cant all be free lol naw i am just playing this was a lawn that i serviced while working for the city last year.
I got a lot of request to see this video with the raw audio so I went head and put it together for you.
I have been currently work on a lot of new content for you guy but I have not had time to get them edited up yet. you can expect NEW WEEKLY content starting in July.
This was a job that I knocked out when I was working for a local city. This was a city violation cut meaning that when a property is neglected the city will notify then hire a contractor to clean it up so that it is not a safety risk for the rest of the community. I mowed this lawn a hauled off the limbs for $60 not the highest paying job in the world but it is good filler type work just to keep you busy and the money flowing.

Well, I owe you a compliment and thank you. I've never been a lawn guy. I've always kept my lawn mowed, but wasn't big into much else. I tried my best to maintain weeds, never edged and actually hated mowing more than once a week, or week and a half, I had buffalo grass. Finally, my lawn got to a point where my dogs had beat it down to dirt, the grass wasn't coming in the best and it was a mess. Last fall I put down seed, a Scott's blend (because it was cheap) and it actually came in amazing. I live in western Kansas and the grass actually grew over the winter. This spring, my lawn was growing like crazy, so I looked up lawn mowing channels, because I started looking for a new mower and I found your channel. It seemed almost calming, watching and so I started taking a bigger interest in my own lawn, including edging with a string trimmer, thank you for the tips. I've got a new mower on the way and have got a couple dozen compliments on how great my lawn is looking, which is pretty good in a town of 250 people I guess. :-) So anyways, thank you for making lawn care enjoyable and being a positive person, my lawn looks as good as it does, thanks to you. I appreciate ya!

Awesome to hear man. It can actually be pretty satisfying and rewarding to do a lawn makeover and more so maintain it after. It’s pretty easy to get kinda addicted to it once you start doing gardens and flower beds and all that. And as I’m sure you’ve found out it really doesn’t take much extra work once it’s started and something as simple as having sharp edges around the lawn makes a huge difference. Plus I’m sure your neighbours appreciate it, if you have any. Lol
@johndunbar2393

@@icantstandsbmm8880 Our town is less than half a square mile, so everyone is pretty much my neighbor, but yes, they are appreciating it. My neighbor next door, has a worse lawn than I have now, so I spent a weekend this spring helping him get his lawn into shape, with edging and weed eating where his mower couldn't get, because he didn't have a string trimmer and removing some trees and dead bushes. The following week, I heard a string trimmer going and I looked over the fence and sure enough, he bought a used one and was going back over what I had done, to keep it up. My new lawn is finally worth the extra effort and maybe I'm just getting older, but it is rewarding to admire the work, after I finish an afternoon of yard work. Heck, I even mow every 4th day now, not because I have to, but because I want to. I never in a million years thought I'd become a lawn guy, yet here I am!

It is oddly satisfying, I wish I could get him to my place, just purchased 20 acres in the mountains and it had been neglected for the last 5 years or so, completely overgrown with wild rose bushes which aren’t at all pretty with 1” thorns everywhere, the trees need trimmed desperately but difficult to get to with all the brush, eventually we might get to it all but who knows, 1 bite at a time for now

I'm just wonderin' if there is such a thing as lawn mowing addiction ? I'm a girl & I have quite a few lawns I mow consistently, the number growing, each year. There's no pay involved, just trying the do good for your family & neighbor thing so I can relate. Also, i enjoy trying out, comparing different mowers, brands, features....but have developed a favorite. Is it weird that a girl is so into this ??? Keep up your awesome work & inspiration dude !!

Your an angel !!! I can relate to being addicted to yard work. I sold my home in a wooded area where I had spent 12 years turning what had been mostly clay into a beautiful oasis. I was always working in the yard. I decided to downsize due to my age, sold my home and moved into an apartment in town. I spent my days off mowing, using my Mantis tiller to dig flower beds and gardens etc. for my friends. I'd just call and ask to work in their yard and they left the garage key. Although my friends appreciated my work they were pretty certain I had gone loco and teased my cildren about it. They thought no sane person did other people's lawn work. Yes, it is addicting ! LOL

I don't know if you have heard of this but I lived in New Zealand for awhile raising dairy cows. They would take their grass clippings and ferment it to feed to their cows. I did a basic search and found an article by turf magazine turn clippings into cattle feed. Its an alternative I believe of disposing of grass clippings. "turning grass into feed-grade silage." I've seen it done in New Zealand lol

He is also starting efforts to raise money for their local hospital, having had several relatives pass away from cancer himself. I believe it is Johnny at Blades of Grass...he had a hot topic today, asking people how they deal with dog poop. People had a lot of input on problems, sanitation, smell, solutions. Reminded me of the huge leaf job you did and had said it had a volume of dog poop as well.

I told my husband that I learned from the best! We uncovered stepping stones that were covered by dirt and vines. I just took a flat shovel to it and it all came up!

I can tell you have a hard time knowing when to stop but I remember you once said “if it’s got my name on it it has to look good”. This looks good.

HOAs exist to help maintain the property values of the neighborhood. Some are more militant/rigid than others, but if your nasty house is going to make my home worth less, I'm going to the HOA for some enforcement action.

I could never understand why the lawyer always told me he could watch me all day doing yardwork, made me mad, karen mad, but then I'm watching you and it makes perfect sense. Just saying, u do great work in more ways than one. See I meet the people I need to meet.

Like a few other people have mentioned, I’ve become more interested in my yard. I find just doing a little bit more trimming or weeding can make such a difference in the yard and I feel good about it. Thank you.

Do you know, back in the early 80s when I was a kid, I earned my allowance by pushing my dad‘s electric lawn more. I got paid three bucks for the front, four bucks for the back. Extremely satisfying. Kept the quarters rolling down the video games lots!

sweet, i get that! in 70's i got like a quarter a week allowance & 1.00 in a birthday card or two :D!

I also had to cut the grass for my allowance but all we had was a reel push mower. LOL My allowance was $4 a week back in the 60's. Be happy for inflation.

@@sammyjo8109 :D 👍 actually, i was folding laundry on the sofa, (as the eldest sib, i always got dishes & folding laundry) the minute the radio dj said Elvis passed away & when mom came home from work, i told her about Elvis.
