Hello everyone, thanks for all the kind comments! A lot of you are asking about how I customized the TFT screen, I just uploaded a new video tutorial on my channel, hopefully it answers those questions.
i really like how this yt replies to both old and new comments and that shes active pn old videos i have never seen that before and i find it truly amazing
i had this keyboard (AJAZZ GIFT SWITCHES MODEL)for a while if you want to mod this keyboard but dont want to deal opening it like this i recommend just lubing the stock stabz keep the gift switch light lubed them because stock they are already good and switch from your preffered keycaps
Mine came with the "Gift Switch"" and the stabilizers are not rattly or ticky out of the box. I decided to only change the keycaps which made the sound profile deeper compared to stock. Maybe I'll try to add some mods to it to see if it can still "improve", but for now, it sounds good for my preference.
I have had this keyboard and removing the switches was a nightmare, they were so hard to get out, I had to use brute force sometimes :o I have never had this before that board!
Thanks for this video!Love how calm and nice you build this keyboard)Spacebar has a really cool sound. Are you satisfied with this or wish to buy something better?I'm looking for new keeb
I think someone asked me about this keyboard before and I still would go with this one as it has more features but I haven't owned the RK M75 before so I can't provide a proper comparison
Hello I can provide a good comparison the m75’s screen does not display gifs or anything it just says if 2.4 is on or not and the sound is worse to its better to go with this one
Can you use different stabilizers on this keyboard? And if so what type ? and also I wanted to know what type of keycaps I can use. I'm waiting for this keyboard to come and want to find some keycaps to pair with them. I want to know the type. Also, any shine-through ones that would work with these would help that are NOT side print. This video helps a lot, thanks for the quality and in-depth explanation of everything
I didn't check because I kept the originals (which are already pretty good on their own) but plate mounted would work, maybe someone else can answer if it supports screw ins/clip ins! MX style keycaps would work if you want to change your keycaps there are a lot on amazon! They'll be labelled as shine through if they are 😊 Good luck!
This keyboard doesn't really come with any silent switches on it's own, would probably need to purchase your own silent switch and switch them out! The board itself is still at a pretty good price point, though it is only a 75% keyboard, I'm not sure what keys you need at work!
Thanks! I bought a 0.3 cm thickness poron foam from Aliexpress. I can add a link to the one I purchased shortly. & yes I used fabric bandaids, cut thinly!
i love those keycaps... unfortunately this thing's not available in my country (Indonesia) i tried amazon but the price is half of ajazz keyboard ($43 this inlucde shipping $35 more exlude tax).. thank's for the great video BTW
Hello!!! congratulations! amazing video! i really like when someone do this with dedication!. i have a question, if i only want to buy the keycaps, is it possible to install them? (Only womier keycaps) Thankssssssssss!!
Hi, i love the final result of this keyboard, and the anesthetic of the keycaps are amazing. i was wondering, how affect the band aid to the final sound, does the stab actually touch the pcb?. Im a beginner in this niche so im not familiarized with mods
Hello, I'm thinking of purchasing this keyboard. Do you think it’s worth taking and can you tell me how to make your own animation on the screen? couldn't find information
Yes, I think this keyboard is worth it if you want a knob & a TFT screen! Otherwise the GMK67 is a cheaper option for a smaller keyboard without the screen. If you still need help with the TFT screen I just uploaded a new video! Thanks for watching! 😊
Got this on recommended and nice that I did! What switches did the kb come with by default? I'm using Ajazz Kiwi switches on my current kb (GMMK2) and really like them, was unaware Ajazz made keyboards too actually.
I always recommend taking a photo of how the wires looked before but if you’re 100% sure you’re putting it back in the right way, then try to go in at a tiny angle so it’s not rubbing against the pcb and then pushing it in while straightening it with a little force at the end to lock it in. Hope that makes sense/helps!
@@anitaatechYour piece of advice to take a photo is actually what saved me! So thanks a bunch! It took a lot of trial and careful error, also my main mistake was that I put it without having this angle you're talking about. Thank you for the reply it'!💌 If anyone is having this issue, just be careful and patient.
Hey! Awesome video! I also got this keyboard, did you manage to set the date and time correctly? If so, how did you do that? I tried using the software, but it kinda just set the time to the exact time I hit sync. Thank you!
I have curious question, with the RGB have you tried it with any 3rd party apps like SignalRGB too see they work with them aswell? so you can sync it with your pc ?
I'm not sure the question but if you mean does it have a rod going down the middle (like leobog hi75) then no... also I kind of show how the knob looks in the video, maybe that helps answer your question?
Definitely a better sound than the flying fish in my opinion. The stock sound is quite good. There’s an official sound test of the board stock with gifts in it that I saw somewhere, it sounds pretty awesome for the price.
Yes it is! I really like it, I've been using it for over a year now. I like how it's lightweight & the connection is good too. You can add more custom DPIs too with the app & it comes with 4 on the mouse you can switch between if you don't want the extra hassle. This mouse doesn't come with any weights though to add to it if you want it heavier. It's more of the simple type.
@@anitaatech yeah i like this mouse because of no rgb and simple design I'm gonna buy it soon, I think you should review this mouse Anyway thanks for the reply 🤍
looking for an upgrade from ciy novice and these keebs caught my attention. ak820 pro, gmk81, cidoo abm066, aula f75 i dont mind barebone or trying out an alice layout but from the sound profile, board/case quality, and dampener prespective which one is a better buy?
all very good choices!! I haven't been able to see most of those keyboards in person but if I were to choose between those I would ask myself what I want from a keyboard (do you want a knob for volume control, do any of these boards come with case filler you're satisfied with, do you need VIA support, do you want a screen to view GIFs or time, are you going to be satisfied typing on an alice layout?, price, etc) anyways... i'd be between the AK820 pro or GMK81/87 because I love the knob, really like screens these days, I don't mind modding the keyboards a bit to get the sound profile I want & I'm not 100% sure I'll get used to an alice layout BUT I'd be willing to try as well but I own a couple boards already so if I didn't like it, I would be ok to not use it often. Good luck!!!! 🙂
Heya! I think the most budget/performance keeb is ak820 pro but you can add a few bucks to your budget and go for f75. But be careful, F75 isnt easy to mod because the case is hard to open and if you force it too much you can break the case. ak820 is better and easier to mod. however it is your choice
I'm not 100% sure since I don't own that keyboard but if I were to choose one I'd still buy the AK820 Pro instead, I like the look more & the features (knob, screen, 75% layout)
Anyone help I've just brought this but I can't get the keys to light up. I no the back of the keys light up but when your playing in the dark THE ACTUAL keys, do t seem to light up for example I can't see where the letters are in the dark. Any ideas pleasex😊
should i buy this keyboard please reply i have never modded before and was just thinking of getting the keyboard and the akko v3 yellow creamy switches let me know if i should get it and use the akko v3 yellow cream switches( idrc abt the gif ) ( if i should buy the keyboards and the switches i wanted should i buy the the keyboard that comes up as the number 1 when i search up ajazz ak820 pro it looks like the exact same keyboard and future but it has higher rating and color and switch choices )
Sorry I don’t fully understand the last part but sure this could be a good beginner board (super inexpensive), but if you’re planning on taking it apart, it might be more complicated since there’s a TFT screen (extra wires to worry about). Akko switches are good! It might be hard to find the cream yellows though because they’re not sold anywhere atm. I’ve purchased the cream blue, cream yellow pros & silver pros personally and really like them!
i just dont understand what you meant when you said that the akko v3 yellow switches are sold out because they are literally available on amazon and they are also available on the akko website
@@anitaatech Yes sorry. I finally realized how to get it work in wireless also. But after how many mins, the screen goes back to the main screen default where you can see the battery life date etc.
I don't know much about the RK M75 but I just did a quick search online, can you mod the screen to GIFs on that keyboard? Otherwise overall I think the AK820 Pro might come with more.
RK84 was my first mechanical keyboard so I do like the brand royal kludge a lot! It was great out of the box too I'm sure it'll be a tough choice between the 2 for you! Can't say I have an answer for you!
I was using a different camera and didn’t realize the audio was terrible so I don’t have a good stock typing test for this keyboard unfortunately. Sorry! But if I were to describe it, it sounds light & smooth, higher pitch sound.
a drop of lube on both rails of the bottom housing, tiny bit of lube on all 4 sides of the stem, & very tiny bit dielectric grease on the entire spring, shaken in a bag. Good luck!
