James Caan and Arkin star as Freebie Waters and Benito “the Bean” Vasquez, two mismatched San Francisco cops who just might not be in their right minds. Together, they bird-dog a notorious mobster as if auditioning for a demolition derby, letting loose a hail of bullets and wiscracks.
