I have the Thursday Captains and Whites Semi Dress on the 55 last and Whites Rancher boots. All of them are great at their price point. The Thursdays are lighter weight and really comfortable. My choice if I am walking a long way. However over the last 3 years it is clear that they are wearing faster that the Whites. The Whites are both built like tanks, once broken in they are comfortable too, the materials used are hard wearing and will literally last longer then me!
I have the same exact boots and colors, terracota captain and mpm1 division road version, fit and feel is worth the price difference, or at least that's how I try to rationalize it😊
Don't knock it unless you've tried it. I have a Thursday captain and it is an excellent value at the price. The whites are on a different level. Their handsewn stuff are some of the finest in the business. And will definitely outlast the Thursdays by a decade or more with proper care.
Yeah I have both whites and Thursdays, I'm actually just throwing my Thursdays away in a donation box because whites are just better in every single way lol.
