I absolutely love this line. They made a good variety of proximity pieces and some being obscure characters I'd never expect to see made. Blob looks incredible and they all look fantastic together.
What I like about this Iron Studios X-Men line is the fact that they are making characters you normally don’t see done. Statues like the Blob, Pyro, and Bishop. Cool stuff!
All 3 together as the centerpiece in a room is perfection and exactly how I’ll have mine set up with proximity pieces around them and let your imagination develop the storyline on how all these characters came together for this epic scene. Despite your criticisms this is a masterpiece and all credit goes to Iron Studios and creative team for making this a reality.
I love the 1st X-Men vs Sentinel statue. #1 Statue with Cyclops and Wolverine. Cyclops is my favorite X-Men. I would love to win that one. Thank you for the video. I'm glad I found you. I'm a Big X-Men Fan.
All 3 sets look perfect together. Since you are a X-Men Fan like me. If you don't know yet the X-Men Animated Series is coming back I think sometime next year. It will be on Disney+. I'm a 90s kid love the X-Men Animated Series.
I think the new X-Men Animated Series will be call X-Men Animated Series 97. It's going to continue from the last episode. I heard it's going to be 10 episodes. Can't wait. I hope I win the #1 X-Men statue with Cyclops and Wolverine the details and art work is really good.
Very cool statues for their scale. I like the “completeness” of them. It’s funny because I really would like 1/4 scale statues of Mojo, Spiral, and Silver Samurai simply because they are less popular and that would make them rare and worth having.
I can bore you with I wish, I want, I'm going to...... this is an example at what I deem treasure. This diorama makes me feel like I'm 14 and explaining, pointing to the usual friend of educating the world of X-Men. Jugs stands out to me the most. They're all bad ass.
The first one is definitely the best. The Magneto one has the Sentinel's body all rippled from the magnetism which I like as a concept. For Kitty Pryde she disrupts technology when she phases through so she doesn't need to do anything else. I think the biggest miss is that there's no light-up feature... would look REALLY good if #1 and #3 had it. Love most of the proximity pieces but they're too expensive or don't fit as you said. Also the Psylocke pegs are horribly designed... jammed and broke while trying to remove despite being gentle. But overall this is just amazing, and have to give them props for reflecting the 90s Jim Lee/cartoon era.
my favorite is the Wolverine vs deadpool and wolverine vs sabertooth statue I absolutley love them I collect marvel legends but i want to get into collecting statues aswell. love your channel
My favorite would be # 2 because Gambit is my favorite X-men, but like you said the best stand-alone would be #1 with the key X-men and all the damage done to the sentinel
I would say #1 for me .just the fact of the dynamics going on .with the sentinel damaged and the X-Men literally in the air like an action frozen in time
I really like the blob, he is excellent👌the paint and pose make him stand out. When you mentioned watching the intro of the 90s cartoon, it helped drive home the appeal of this diorama. Iron studios found a way to capture the energy and bright colors of a series that many love 🙌
I like all three sections of the diorama. The first is by far my favorite but if I got one, like Pokémon, I’d have to catch them all. Great overview Mr X
When I see them together it always makes me want to jump on sentinal #2 and complete the set. Im glad you are happy with these despite some of the issues that I do agree these have. Very cool man thanks.
Saw these on Sideshow. Wish I could get these sets but I don’t have the space for them. Plus, moving to new digs. Some of these X-Men 1/10s may have been rushed. Glad they did Blob and Pyro. Too bad Unus, Avalanche, Mister Sinister, Dazzler, and the New Mutants aren’t in this. Glad I have my Ghost Rider 1/10 comic art statue. He sold out on day 2 of Comic-Con few years ago. An F4 1/10 diorama set(s) would be awesome with Silver Surfer, Firelord, Galactus, The Inhumans, Captain Marvel, and Dr. Doom involved.
In my mind the story is that all the villains attack the mansion. Then in the middle of the fight the Sentinels show up to attack everyone so the X-Men and villains turn their attention more towards the Sentinels, but they face off at times when they can. Totally agree that it doesn't really make sense for some characters to be there, but I convinced myself that Magneto could organize everyone to attack. Sentinel #1 is more damaged because it got there beforehand. Sentinel #3 just landed. That's why it's still outside.
I love this whole line. Although I agree with a lot of your thoughts on the proximity pieces. I love them because of how obscure some of them are and am just excited they made some of these characters
I'm not a statue collector. I'm an X-Men collector. So this was the first time I ever bought a statue and I got / am getting all of them. Which is becoming a more and more expensive proposition as I never thought they'd release so many proximity pieces. In addition to the proximity pieces you listed there is also a Lady Deathstrike and Domino that they have teased on Instagram but haven't gone up for sale yet and I think you missed Warpath.
Despite the lack of destruction to the sentinel's body. Perhaps because they just began fighting it, #3 is my favorite of the three. Unfortunately the explosion on the sentinel's leg won't happen until Kitty Pride finishes going through it but it is nice how they involved her into the scene. One thing is for sure Mr. X, if you do get Cable definitely Bishop is a must. I do love Scarlett witch and Quick Silver proximity pieces just to put them with their father Magneto in the #2 diorama. The only reason I would get Mojo is if they made a 1/3 scale of him with the X babies attacking around him. Still all three of the Sentinel diorama look great. Congrats on getting them.
I’m with you on the paint and sculpt; great pieces overall and just think, with number one, It not only changes colours and flavours, but also never gets any smaller or disappears! Win win! 😂
I love this setup! I have all the releases thus far, but have not displayed them yet. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to do that. You almost need to be able to walk around them, but I worry about a mid room display eating up too much space and accidentally getting bumped into or something. The conference room table works, but, alas, I have no conference table in my basement. I’d love to see more pics of how others are displaying theirs.
Very judgy there about some of the character's portraits, lol. I've taken some really great photos of these proximity pieces and every character looks like themselves. Iron Studios honestly made my dream come true of having a near complete and consistent line of fine statues features my favorite side of Marvel, X-Men.
Exactly, she's a perfect mutant to fight against the giant robots. They messed up with her though, they should show some electronics shorting out or having some wires in her hand as she leaves. To be this...bland.. that's the effect of her going through a wall, not something electicial.
My favorite part of this video was you explaining which pieces you are getting and which ones you aren't. It's hilarious how we collectors justify what we do and don't get.
I’ve really been loving these videos, probably because we’re collecting them all too haha. Still waiting on number three but I think it will be my favorite overall of the sentinels and honestly the Deadpool statue is one of my favorite once we got it haha!
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX yes! Got him from Sideshow around December and put him next to Sentinel 2 for now. Happy I got him. His details are really great in person and a better portrait/paint job compared to a lot of them.
Just occurred to me on my second watch that the arm Sabertooth is on could be from Sentinel 2. Sentinel 2 is missing an arm and two legs. That could account for quite a few of the pieces.
Kitty Pride should have had a fist full of wires in her hand or at least one with some sparks, I bet the middle piece was the biggest seller. Though the one thing I hate about statues is that they are static where the actual figures you can pose, well the early 2000's figures anyways.
I'll admit I use to ogle over these statues, but seeing a more hands on perspective that also includes cost plus pros and cons really sheds a more direct light. It's very appreciated considering what's what and what I would really want instead of what I think I need.. thank you sir.
Wow again so glad u went all in the display for these together is jaw dropping, I feel bad that I bought the professor X from u now 🙃. I got the sentinel 1 piece with the magneto, professor X, juggernaut, nightcrawler, jean grey, psylocke, storm and bishop (def recommend u get it great detail pretty big piece too) proximity pieces. Would of loved too get sentinel 2 & 3 but too much space for me.
Sentinel 1 is the best for me it got me hooked. As far as proximity pieces in hand i actually love omega red and gambit. I passed on sentinel 2 but got the characters and gambit looks amazing standing on a sentinel hand.
I do like #1 but I also like #3 also. Like you said #3 would have been cooler with more of them fighting the Sentinel and some more damage. The proximity pieces that you have and will have really make it a bad ass set up. 👍

I always do the retail prices. If you watch the video reviews of each sentinel you will see them. I don’t do resale as it’s variable based on many factors. I have a video on those as well
