6:42 This existed before the year 2000, and yet we still got what we got in the Fox movies with a much greater budget. 😭 If this woman had more red in her hair, this would’ve been the perfect look for Mystique.
2.99 for a kids pizza, FOUNTAIN DRINK(!) and comic book in the 90s. Fast forward to the 2010s: wolverine claw comes with one claw, additional claw sold separately.
that's because back in thedays around 80's/90's actors actually had to dress up and wear costumes. Now, everything is just all digitally animated on the computer. So they can design or make it look however they want. Lol. However, I agree the mystique in this hardees Ad looks good and better than the movie version!
@@tropicalbeach9225brother Rebecca and Jennifer had to have latex shower in blue and sit for 4 hours of make up to make a 5 min take. The whole problem with Hollywood is making basic things to be too complicated. I swear if MCU Mystique would look like this and not a Chameleon I'd buy advace tickets for the movie.
Yo I remember eating pizza hut for a week straight and collecting my merch... not to mention I had remember most all of these commercials, why can't I go back to 1992
@@swisserty It's their word against yours. They said they remembered getting it as a birthday gift. We have no way to confirm so we must take their statement at face value and assume they really did get Wolverine's claws. Why are you even disagreeing? You have absolutely no way to prove otherwise.
@@Dalton_Boardman2000 reasonable psuedo-ized belief straw man fallacy sect detected. Yawn, i perturbed the facts of that mando vizla could not REMMEBER getting the gift. You’re insistence on such banal benign words is flagrantly shown to mask an unsure wit.
So true, I remember not being that interested in the projector, only as an added feature. Kid me first saw them at a K.B. Toys in the local mall. I didn't want the oversized Wolverine or other characters because they would have been out of scale from the rest of my X-men 6in figs. However, the Apocalypse character on the show could grow big! So that was perfect to have the projector Apocalypse figure be his "giant" size version towering over the 6in figs. He even had this cool wrecking ball type arm. So cool! :D
3:22 is hilarious considering that Deadpool's outfit as we know him hadn't dropped yet. Let alone there has never been a live action Wolverine in yellow till Deadpool 3
I Was Born in 1979, So I Experianced MANY Toy Crazies, Including: StarWars, GoBots🤖, ThunderCats🦁🐯, DC SuperPowers, Marvel's SecretWars, GI*Joe & SilverHawks🐦 & THOSE Were Just in The 1980's!!
3:57, Wolverine's claws breaking the screen would work in the going to commercials bumpers during the Powerhouse Era of Cartoon Network (1998-2004 aproximately).
90's were so ahead than in modern films, the photography, the lighting, the respect for the original costumes, the originality, the only thing they lacked was special effects, but now we got good CGI and the rest is awful
Seeing this just taught me how spoiled i was as s kid. I had all of those in the first 3 Toy Biz except for the X-men Headquarters. I still even have the Blackbird and Sentinel.
Damn these take me back! I still remember being grade school and some kid telling me there were X-Men toys and I was in complete denial for some reason. Then I got them and my bed remained a battleground for months.
My older cousin had the "Power-Lifting Colossus" and when he moved out of his parents house they gave me ALL of his action figures including that one and the Sabertooth projector but sadly nothing to project.
"I've always had trouble with men!" Like I know it's Rogue and part of her whole back story but anybody who doesn't know that, that is a wild fucking comment out of context. "Listen kids you only get one, so if your parents really love you, they'll buy you two, cause you can only be Wolverine with two!" That what the action in that commercial was saying.. hahaha.
Honestly, Wolverine should have had the "Ultra Fast Healing Wounds" if they was just gonna have his Claws out 24/7 AND BENT LIKE THAT! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Honestly, the Mystique one...kinda ates ❤ And i want to know, how the people who go to cinema to watch Wolverine Origins feels after seen the movei they go to watch in a "old commercial" compilation
1. I skipped most of the movie commercials. 2. Imagine being that little boy that had to say “I’ve always have trouble with men” like a southern belle. 3. In the Water wars commercials, the dad peaking over the bushes is a weird way to show ‘adult supervision’
AVI ARAD worked on the first movies as executive producer But for the 3rd movie, he decided to step in as the main producer That's why we got a movie done by a director with no passion, and a limited story overstuffed with characters, just so he could sell more toys
I did not play with my action figures like that. I never understood these commercials. Who lays with action figures like that? banging them together. You didnt even move the body and give it fluid movement?
Ahhh yes, the water wars toys...water toys were mostly a sign the action figure people were low on ideas. I remember a similar line for GI Joe before they went under for a while...
