It's like I said when the Donut drama originally popped off. Nobody loses by us having another great automotive channel to enjoy. We, as viewers, win. We get more content, and the competition forces people to make better content. I didn't understand what all the fuss was about in the beginning anyways. People act like you can only watch 1 channel, and that's it.

@@trdpro2grfks The reason they’re similar in feel is because the Big Time hosts were with Donut for a very long time, they made the Donut vibe what it is today, together with Nolan and James, I can understand that they feel a bit copycat-ish, but that’s because their vibe is the Donut vibe I’ll still watch both 😂😂

Actually, just like when James departed, Jer and Jobe both had scenes filmed with Donut already and are now being released. Big Time and Speeed are both operating on their own schedules and independently of Donut. No one has bad blood with anyone else, James, Jer & Jobe just wanted to focus on what they loved doing more

It seems like low car's exhaust or cats might have been a bit blocked up, which is why the stock dyno number was lower and why they gained more power from the exhaust upgrade

I'll explain you all why the low HP on the Hi car expensive exhaust. Pretty simple, it is a higher flow exhaust. Built for 800+HP, from there on is when the exhaust will start to notice that there is an engine

@@mustangseth7215 There could be quality issues or blockage on the stock exhaust. There doesn’t need to be a difference in model or exhaust system setup for them to cause a performance difference.

On an NA car especially, exhaust design is a dark art. Too large of a pipe near the engine and you lose exhaust gas velocity of the pressure pulse and greatly reduce scavenging. This is why many manifolds are stepped; ideally you want the exhaust tapering from smaller to larger all the way back but obviously this isn't practical. Usually, there's very little to no scavenging effect after the collector on manifolds as long as those. Anyways, what I'm getting at is that the Hi-car exhaust could be sized for a car with a greater power output and you might see these gains amplified with a cam or supercharger, for example.

Double x pipe actually robs performance and its more of a sound thing. H pipe while not adding as much as a regular x increases scavenging at lower RPMs.

The throttle body is kind of pointless without doing the GT350 intake manifold as well. You could have got the same or even better gains with the stock throttle body and a PMAS intake.

I kind of understand why they did it because I'm sure tuning is going to come into play eventually but this was trying to show hardware-only gains.

I just gotta ask why Hi car wouldn't fully upgrade the exhaust?? Small diameter pipes are the biggest restriction in the exhaust (beside the cat). Seems like a glaring oversight, especially for the team that has unlimited budget

I personally like her inclusion in their videos. Why does it matter who is in the video. This video is an expensive vs cheap parts comparison, and is not about who’s in the video. Donut isn’t perfect, but no one is.

Stephs so good in these vids I think her being the head of hi team is a big improvement for hi-low. Nolan's always been great as head of low team so no change needed there. Best hi-low series yet thanks to the cast change if you ask me.
