I have one like this, but it came with android 4.1, I don't know how I could access the bios and change de OS to a linux, or how to boot it from a usb drive ISO or a SD card, does anyone know?
does that thing run on 2x aa's. my 11yr old daughter would throw that thing away.. shes snooty. thats her moms fault.lol. no i need lots of ram these days. and i watch lots of youtube. can you watch youtube on that thing. or i use my wifes droid for youtube when the laptops busy. thats pretty quick too.
I wish someone would make a new operating system for one of theese that actually was capable of something. I have one. It cant do anything aside from playing an mp3 badly.
My Asus EEE Pc 900 (9") lasted 2 years worked great for a $200 computer (was a gift). With netbooks you have to understand you need to limit the number of programs running. And understand it is not a Mac Book Pro. With a good browser (Google chrome, Opera) and enough ram (2gs) they run just as fast as a desktop when browsing the web or typing a word doc. These are great for travel; long battery lives (my new one lasts nearly 11hours) and are ultra portable. Interesting cheep product though!
@macegx why do your misspelled comments about getting android pop up in every netbook video I go to???!! RETAKE GRAMMAR CLASS AND LEARN THAT WIN CE IS JUST AS GOOD AS ANDROID!!!!
That is a very nice give-a-way item. Looks like it has some good uses for people on a major budget, and for anyone who wants a little back-up laptop. I am a bit confused how you devide RAM though, being that it is volitile memory, but whatever, it works. Slowly, but works.
maybe . . . if it supports an external keyboard. my acer d250 (before I took it apart) was a 10.1" and after 30 mins of usage my fingers would start aching. can't imagine using a smaller keyboard -_-
Dont know much about this one in particular but usually thouse laptops are based on arm architecture,so it would be impossible to run windows 98 or most linux distros, but it should be possible to get some linux distros made for arm arch and ofc android
