This is the way tbh. If you’re getting hired for gigs, the ones who are always booked and busy are also the “easiest” to work with. If you can make it easier for everyone and still give nice work? Thats a skill in itself. You can give a truly amazing output but if you’re not good at working with others? You wont get a call back. The client will remember how difficult you are.
High profile clients want a high profile photographer, when you have millions in the bank 10k for a photographer is nothing. Besides, if people are paying it, why does it matter?
Wedding Tog here 35yrs in the game now retired. We were charging £10K in the early 2000's and were booked out solid - Mamiya RZ and a cupla Nikon FX90's - Italian handmade albums - and that was just the start - Parents albums - framed canvas, and reprints often pushed that to double.
It's like listening to a mechanic complain about the cost of getting his car fixed at the dealership. Sure it cost more to have someone else do the work you can do.
The complaint about the price is ridiculous. Every product and service is a different price and the prices for any service can range widely. If you don’t like the price or examples of the service provider’s work product, hire someone else. If you love examples of that person’s work product and agree to the price, hire the person. Do your homework in advance.
The most I charge each wedding gig is $2000 or 60 lakhs MMK. All of that including more than 5 shooters. And probably over 10 to 20 cameras and also using all the things in my business's camera van.
People spent years to have this skill. If they want something cheaper that's ok but don't expect the skill to be anywhere near a professional. I see people studying at college and university. They pay so much for a skill and expect off customers that it should be cheaper. Open your eyes people your paying for a professional job done.
@@petrpohnan875 Nope, but high price and crappy photos tells tons about that "professional". Almost all pics that girl shows are blurry and lack sharpness.
