Thanks for the no nonsense straight talk. A brief history lesson on my camera journey. I have only shot one wedding. It was 5-7 years ago by accident. A coworker's daughter was getting married and her photographer cancelled last minute with some lame excuse. She begged me just to come to the Church for a few pictures. Long story short, I pulled it off with my Canon 5DmkIV with the exception of the Bride and Groom walking down the isle. I choked on focus, shutter speed and lighting in that brief, Very Important moment. Now I have the R6 mkII. I just upgraded from The R6 which I gave to my son. I love both of these Cameras. Looking back now, I could have crushed that Wedding with either the R6 or R6mkII Hind sight is 20/20 LOL I appreciate your tips from this video I hope you have been able to add the R6 or R6mkII to your arsenal. I shot a Baby Shower a few weeks ago and the colors and results were stunning. I give all the credit to The R6 mkII
It is amazing how we can pick up small suggestion like this to be for us huge save in time. Shooting live event is stressful, there for such a suggestion is awesome for all of us... Big thank you...
similar to ishangarwalphotography, I am coming from a 60D to my 1st mirrorless, an R6 MkII + adapter to run my EF lens Tommy, your explanation is fast, clear and Thank You for dumbing it down for me to understand.
Thanks for videos, they are amazing !! I have set back button to eye detection but main capture button is in servo made instead of one shot when half pressed ? please help. Bob
Tommy it’s been so long I am missing your travel videos first India then Iceland. Please upload soon. And Congratulations ❤ wish you Happy Married life. 🎊 🎉❤
One question, so you don't use SERVO? Is that different from single point AF? Lastly, when you take pics with couples moving towards you, you put your focus on the eye first, then keep pressing back button focus as they walking or moving?? I am confused 🥴
I am coming from 60D 5Dmarkiii yesterday got my First mirrorless R5C RF 15-35 L with rest of my ef lenses my it was really annoying with my EF 50mm 1.8 continiously making focusing sound i will try this is my 50mm a waste? I have ef 70-200,70-300,24-70,24-105,100,12-24
@@Thundr4x thanks to mirrorless, “focus then recompose” is no longer a thing. Now you can compose and then focus, thanks to the 100s of focus points. Wherever you compose they’ll sure be a focus point you can use without needing to recompose
@@Thundr4x I use the shutter wheel to move the focus point left or right, and the aperture wheel to move the point up or down. Doing both actions simultaneously means I can reach my desired focus point in a second :)
