Such a simple video but great creativity and your talking to the camera is on point pulls your viewer into the conversation . Your a master of your skillz .
I stayed there years ago (I think it was called the Nest back then, hence the birdcage chairs) , before the virus. It was a great room, high floor, sea view. Quiet, like you said, even when the bars were busy. Only downside was the water pressure in the shower, and the hot water kept going back and forth from icy to scalding.
That was the most random 30 seconds of any video. Dogs, starfruit and dogs checking you out. 😂😂. I noticed that on my last trip, last minute bookings can be great. That first hotel was nice I would stay there. Cheers keis stay safe mate.
Prices are crazy now... The hotel I stayed at in July was around $40-45 AUD per night, to book in December it's $100+ AUD. Agoda says Pattaya is in the top 200 searched destinations in the world at the moment!
I agree, been pushing back my trip and now debating going at all because the prices seem crazy. With the tourist numbers being lower I dont know if its just wishful thinking thinking high season is here and now everywhere will be full.
Just stayed at the Weekend Pattaya for 2 weeks cost $653 Aus,excellent location and surprisingly quiet and close to Sailor bar for a few decently priced war m up beers.
The weekend was my first hotel coming to Pattaya 8 years ago it was called tweet tweet nest Great location rooms are cool great area actually got stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes they wouldn't keep apologizing to me and got me a big fruit basket and that location is so great nice little quiet street like you said was thinking about booking it again you made me book it
Stayed just downthe road from you last week at Sunbeam hotel..hotel is a bit old but staff there really good..also good bar across the road..Sky bar with live music most nights
Thanks for the tip mate, had great time in the exact same room (25) in the weekend. Also nice that they have their own quiet parking lot. Please note when booking cheap hotels: Many are non refundable. (or 5 days before stay on Agoda) If you choose wrong and end up in a sht hole, it will cost you more if you really dont want to stay. (happened to me when booking the Star recidency hotel, with the Indian restaurant in the lobby) You could concider making several reservations when booking unknown hotels, so you can cancel the later reservations if you'd like to switch.
hey there adam, i saw you and said hi in myst a couple of days ago. i wanted to speak a few words with you after watching so many videos but I didn’t want to disturb you among your friends. anyways, have fun out there and take care!✌🏻
I actually walked past that hotel yesterday while I was checking out the hotel I've booked for April. Booked in at Sunshine hotel and apartments also on soi 8. When is the tower happening?
Stayed at it before used to be called tweet tweet nice hotel. Another hidden gem in bangkok is w21 hotel right next to soi cowboy at the entrance side across from terminal 21 very cheap prices and also they 2 rooms on the rooftop that are pretty big I always stay at it when I vist bkk can't beat the location and price is great.
@@keisone was my go to hotel before covid ..I have now moved location and stay at sleep with me which is a great all round hotel for price , location , pool and a soft bed
Coming to Thailand 2 to 14 November. Last time i stayed in apartment....the water heater made so much vibration due to weired connection in water inlet....it was so loud all other neighbouring apt could hear....🤗😀🙏 "Other" prices 🤨😉😉😉😉have doubled.... That fruit that fell is edible generally called start fruit known as carambola ...
The Weekend has been the first hotel I have ever been to in Pattaya back in November 2019. Location in Soi 8 is great. Water pressure wasn't that good if I remember correctly, but room overall was good. Paid about 1500 Baht per night back then.
Here's a tip on finding cheap rooms. Find a hotel or room and type that hotel into Google and sometimes a booking site will have a crazy deal. The other month I was in Turkey and was about to book another 3 nights in the hotel and a booking site was half the price as anyone else so paid €30 instead of €50 per night !!
In the west we call that a Star fruit don't know the Thai name. 1st tried and seen 1 on Zanzibar island and it was sweet, juicy and delicious but every one I have had since then even in Thailand was the opposite. To bad you didn't try it as it looked properly ripe and could have been good?
The shower is really cool, in my opinion. Never seen anything quite like this. There is an ashtray on the balcony, too. Does that mean that guests can smoke here?
@@WILLNEVERCONFORM I'm not quite sure because some hotels prohibit smoking within the building. Guests are only allowed to smoke in designated smoking areas. Some other guests also complain about the smell because they open the balcony window (they claim they feel like getting some fresh air).
@@weekdaycycling since 1986 till now, 36; countries, recently from Spain - Portugal - Dubai to Thailand and Cambodia (7weeks ago) currently, got to disagree mate, if balcony is on building exterior, city planning law rules apply, I've never had a critic. The odd whiner's lie of course ....the "I'm allergic" spinners, get scoffed off. I don't tolerate whiner's or cyclists at my age I'm that guy on a Vtwin that gets my revenge chuckle when in a car, opening my door at the appropriate time.
@@WILLNEVERCONFORM Here's the issue that concerns smoking in residential units: The condominium juristic person's issuance of smoking regulations, requirements, announcements, or orders is thus divided into two major themes: "Please do not smoke on the balcony," as well as "Do not throw cigarette butts out the balcony." If it has the potential to start a fire, it will be fined xx baht. " And we must be appeased if we do not discuss the law but rather the "rules for co-existence." If you have a co-owner who smokes, take caution not to smoke on the balcony. Cigarette butts should never be left on the balcony, not only for the sake of the neighbors' health but also for their own safety.
Hi Adam, that was a star fruit! Tastes quite good, try some at the next night market. That was a really weird sequence between the soi dogs and the fruit falling and almost hitting you at the end of the video.
haha yeah, weird funny ending to the video.. I since realised its starfruit which I have eaten many times. I guess I never saw it as a whole fruit before haha
"The Weekend" is around $20/night right now on agoda. Not cheap. Super-Last-Minute prices seem to be DOUBLE !! And you just threw away a perfectly good star-fruit .... people pay good money for that in the market ... you should try some.
@@PREPFORIT Yes, for those with kidney problems. I think its nutritional value outweighs the toxicity for normal people. Even cherries, tomatoes, cashews etc have some level of toxins in them. But they are all flushed out by our kidneys.
Oh yeah? that's nothin I... Just kidding Wow Man that is a great price for that room in that hotel. Good tips for booking a room👍 That aerial bombardment was a starfruit. you will see it used as a garnish in some cocktails. BUT it is really bad for your internal organs like your kidney's AVOID!
