Tbh bro he has done a great job. Was planning to visit Malaysia next year now I'm definitely going to SRI LANKA! I've associated myself with Sri Lankans throughout the years & I've found them to be more friendly & empathetic compared to Indians. And to know that they come from a beautiful country as well just makes me look forward more.

They weren't babysitting you, Harald. They were making certain you weren't harming the wildlife or anything else around you. It could be that others have come before you and they damaged things, or tried to feed the animals, or get too close, etc. It wasn't necessarily about just protecting you. But also on that note, it is about protecting you because you're not really technically on a "resort", you're in the wild where wild animals can jump out and attack you at any given moment's time. If a ranger escorted you from your room to another place and vice versa, it could be because they spotted some animals close by that might have come to close to the rooms or walkway. In order to keep you safe, they escort you rather than just be "whatever, who cares" about it. They're running a business in an area where animals may have attacked, harmed and even killed some tourists who thought they knew better than the locals. They have to protect their business and interests as well as their guests. Don't take it so personally. It's just business.

I think it's a pretty awesome deal considering it's all inclusive and with the extras such as the safari trip. The food looked fantastic by way and very friendly staff from what I saw. I think the rangers would be under very strict instructions given the potential dangers so personally I can't blame them but it's probably better if they give you more space in places with low risk.

You obviously didn't watch the entire video and or read my comment right. See went on an excursion in the jeep wit s tour guide and found an elephant in it natural habitat.
Because couple of days ago six peoples was died trying to swim in the sea. That's the reason they give more security to every traveler avoid to swim that sea.✌️
I am from sri lanka and live in USA. Security is there for your safety. Some Beaches in Sri lanka are very dangerous. I went to a beach and was very lucky to have made it out. My life flashed before me and it was no joke. Sometime locals say "yes" to swim and it is not safe. Just be very careful.
That lodge is incredibly beautiful!! Food looked well presented and I assume pretty tasty. I hope they get some business from this video. They seem like nice hosts and sincerely concerned about their guests. As always, great video!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend checking out anjallees photos. I never considered Sri Lanka as a place I really needed to visit but this vlog coupled with her photos had me checking for plane tickets 😘

Drinks and food alone, for one would be at least $200 per day ... a couple at least $450, free laundry service and a private pool ... definitely worth the money ☝️ But personally, I wouldn’t be comfortable outside of the tent for two long because of the animals ... though, lovely to see they’re free to roam Poor little snake, you’re right, he did seem confused 🐍 Maybe he thought your fingers were his siblings ? seemed that way when it looked like he was going to bite ... excellent video, thank you

Respect the ocean. Most ocean deaths are a result of drowning in rip currents. Trust the advice of locals. They will know the dangers better than a visitor.

Alot of security makes me more nervous than with less cant enjoy with somebody telling you what to do like if they were your parents but its a beautiful place and the food looks amazing the price is a little high but its a nice place to spend some extra money ❤❤❤
