He is speaking of the Euchorist. Which, like most of the Bible is blatantly misrepresented by most standards. The Eucharist is the process of building the inner temple that can house the spirit of Christ, or unleash it, aka the BLOOD. To eat flesh/bread of Christ is to comprehend, and put into action, to know with your heart and believe truly the Gospel and their concepts. The Spirit/wine/blood/flame is the spirit which is given to him who completes this ritual. The dead are spiritually dead, full of dead men's bones. The Bible is the path to enlightenment and why it must be done. Why we are here and what went wrong. And what we must do while here. The Eucharist is the philosophers stone. 1. Fear God. To know God is to fear him 2. Ask for knowledge, alone without letting anyone know, speak to God. He won't answer you if you use prayer as a way to gain favor among men. So be genuine. 3. Begin to disect the scriptures, starting from Genesis in OT, to Revelation in NT. If you're not eating up the scripture and digesting most of it than you shouldn't press on. Take your time to understand each paragraph. It's not a race. Win by building the best temple not the fastest to complete. 4. Take each lesson with a higher degree of Truth than that which comes from "scientific sources". There's not time to justify this leap. it would take years of studying various scopes of knowledge to conclude that 95% of what we are taught is an arrogant misunderstanding at best, blatant deception at worst. 5. Be truthful to your "heart", for the heart is deceptive. You're "heart" can be closely paralleled with "the sum of beliefs and understanding" and "the reaction one gives to a given situation". Aka nobody knows how they will act when confronted with Death and it typically isn't what we expect to happen, lest the ego be bruised. 6. Remember to think outside the box. Rather than looking at stories from our typical "worldly view" try to apply these parables to a "spiritual view". Aka when it says John the Baptist baptised in a wilderness and survived off locusts and wild honey. This is him surviving in a "spiritual wilderness" which can be interpreted as "living with very little truth and heavenly understanding and protection. Which is a bit like insanity or confusion, or wondering without shephard to someone in an elevated state. Open to the meddling of demons. The locusts are spiritual knowledge (food/bread/flesh/truth) and the wild honey is scarce spiritual growth and fulfillment (wine/blood/water/spirit). 7. Understand that there are many spiritual deserts to cross and it takes time to digest knowledge. Nothing is easy especially the narrow path. But nothing is more fulfilling. 8. The world is a strange place, far stranger than understood by most all. It is very mysterious and quite intimidating at times. But as divine souls we need not fear any but the Lord our God.
