I'm in Blackpool, Norcross Carboot still hasn't started this year. First one is due this weekend but I'm at Wembley supporting my team against Man Utd.
It's fascinating how you buy such a wide variety of stuff to sell, moreso how you buy with your head, not your heart, if that makes sense. For example the large electronics, things I generally leave because they're too bulky and could potentially not work. I also don't sell online as you do and that's where the highest prices will be achieved. But I tend to follow my heart, get nostalgic with vintage stuff. It's beautiful but doesn't always sell for much. Online selling is a very different beast isn't it? I'm like a wholesaler, supplying Ebay sellers
Thanks mate, appreciate that angle of what you've seen! I think it could have well come from starting my journey at auction houses, it's very easy to get emotionally caught in the moment with certain items, sooo many times I'd be gutted that something sold for one bid more than my max, but being disciplined with it definitely set me in good stead going forward. What avenues do you use to sell then?
@@DiaryOfAReseller Only at our weekend market, like your boot sale. I used to sell on Ebay years ago but it's too easy for scammers now, too stressful. I love what I do now. I live below the poverty line but it's fun. I source free stuff from street verge collection and skip bins, or stuff people put out for free. I find really good stuff. You wouldn't believe what people throw out
