I can’t believe you found an image of the HMS Boatload. That was my grandfather’s vessel. They all told him that it wouldn’t work but by god he proved them wrong. Crabbed off the coast of Hartlepool in it for several years before it was nicked and presumably spent.

Could be interesting to try something similar with "perfect players"... Team #1 has 20 perfect players under contract for a single year before they get sold, Team #2 has 19 perfect players under contract for two years up to team #20 who has one perfect player under contract for 20 years. See where the sweet spot is for how long they stick around vs how many there are.

Career of perfect octuplets: Create 8 players: Two Strikers Two Wingers Two Midfielders Two Defenders This can also be a test to see if they can win a World Cup with a nation that are not even top 100.

One good idea for the channel is: take 5 top coaches like Mourinho, Klopp, Pep, Arteta, Tuchel, give them 1 billion or perfect facilities, lock them in a national league or vanerama league team and see who will gonna rise in the top fastest!

Video idea: English pyramid down to vanorama north/south, and the facilities get flipped. So any team who has a 20 for youth recruitment, gets a 1, and a team with 4 for training facilities, gets 17. Will the flipped facilities rise up, and would the low facilities fall, or would the top teams spend their real money to improve before being dethroned?

When you do these videos I would love a short rundown of some of the worlds best players, crazy individual performances, awards, and stats that happen throughout the save. It is always intriguing to see what the game can produce.

Good move there tom, giving a larger pool of teams the facilities vs the money is much smarter than one on each side of the spectrum. Definitely negates the chance of a team being careless with their facilities or money. Hope you carry on with this format!!

Next time you should test which is stronger - both the perfect facilities & a billion pounds vs a perfect reputation (for the teams at least, maybe players & league as well)

The simple thing is that money does not do you any good if you don’t know how to spend it. Same goes with having young talented players, you simply do not have the staff the recognize the potential. Have you considered experimenting with giving two clubs 1bn or perfect facilities but have one club with already existing non-coaching staff (president, director of football etc.) and have another club with perfect non-coaching staff. I think that clubs with more gifted staff will have way more success and we will finally have the pleasure to see a 1bn non-league club win the PL. :)

Part of where all the money goes is in to a "reserve investment fund." This is a thing the board does in good times to, presumably, protect against financial trouble later on.

State of the art facilities are for the long run 1 billion is shorterm once you’ve ran out upgrading and buying with the facilities you can get money and spend it on players and you don’t even need to a lot because you’ve got state of the art youth facilities

Hey TomFM! I think I actually have a very hard challenge for you that would be quite entertaining. Manage FC Vaduz and win the champions league. Although they play in the Swiss system, they can only qualify for the Conference league by their national club tournament. Meaning you’d have to win the Conference League, Europa League and Champions league back to back to back. Been loving the content!

Hello Tom, i have an idea of rebuild. Can you rebuild Spartak Trnava? They are good Team in Slovakia. In the 60s, they had a very good run in the Champions League. They ended the run in the semifinal against Ajax. In that tíme they had one of the best players in world. Today, they aren't that good for that i call you to get them back at this level. Thank you!!!

I think I'd like to see this done but with the money team, you give them at least a good DOF and Head of Youth because the AI always buy horrendous players and spend too much on them. Plus and I've said this for years, getting out the National League South/North and Prem is so difficult. Should be 3 or 4 up/down in each division and League 2 should increase how many get relegated. Good work though!

Not sure if you took into account geography and proximity to other clubs when considering the clubs' ability to attract youth players. Clubs near Manchester that aren't United or City will always struggle to get to players coming through their youth academies/recruitment
