Have you considered using vacuum bags to store your clothing? It's airtight and removes any moisture as well. Everything in your container would be flattered down to 2 inches

We did try but I think we got cheap ones as they all leaked and went back to full size, might try it again when we switch in winter

Hi Tony&Sonya. Long time no see. I've been quite busy in the past few months. Finally we are heading to the end of this school year.It's not an easy year without you two! A lot change happened in school. Sonya won't believe it that she won't need to do so much work as when she was here...Maybe you two want to consider about coming back, hahahaha~ It's nice to hear you guys' voice. And the barbecue by the boat looks GREAT!

@@sameshipdifferentday2024 Many changes, for instance, if Sonya is still here, she doesn't need to be a homeroom teacher while same time she will have a middle lead team to help her work, PSL, a few coordinators, phonics support lead etc... so come back! hahaha~

Yeah we did have to keep her onboard as she kept just laying on Sonya as she was trying to paint! We will have to be carefull not to lose her against the boat now...

Ronseal dirrect to metal matt black was the paint, you can put it straight to rust too. Sonya said the microfibre roller was much better than the brush too. Love the name of your narrowboat btw!!! xx

Glad you enjoyed it! We wanted to go but with the Puppy we can't really do it this year. She can only walk for 30 minutes and we don't want to leave her for too long yet

It seems to me watching your vids that the canals are somewhat falling into disrepair compared to when i lived on them (1978 -1999) some of the locks are a disgrace as are the towpaths when it British waterways it appears to me that the canals and towpaths were in better Nick, Oh and the two tractors looked like grey Massey Fergusson's

In some ways I think its probably good that we started when we did so we don't really notice things getting worse as this is just how they are. Lots of the locks are not in a good way though and a high percentage of the old lock cottages are empty and run down

Brilliant content. Can I ask Sonya if you put any rust preventer on, did you sand the entire length of the gunnel off and did you do both sides? Have a great week!

THe paint we used already had rust preventer in it, it was direct to rust. Just done one side so far waiting for weather and the tow path to be the right side!
