Another beautifully finished German motor home, the Carthago C-Tourer T 148 LE H. In association with: igneousassetfinance.com/our-p... With thanks to: www.southdownsmotorhomecentre...
That might be the nicest motor home you have reviewed in a while. I like pretty much everything about that. Price of a studio flat, but it looks awesome. The use of space is also fantastic. Really really impressed.
Well, I live in West Sussex and there are some 1-bed studio/apartments for that money. Go ooop north and you can get a 3 bed semi, such is the inequality of the North and South divide in this country. @@tacodias
That’s an impressive little unit. The fit and finish is superior. The drop bed was so well hidden. I was specifically looking for it and didn’t see it till you dropped it. If I ever get to the UK, I’ll pick up something like that to tour from
Hi Nick, This time a very nice show of this Carthago C Tourer T 148 LE H a impresive one this type travels four but also sleeps for in great comfort The first thing i look for in your show are there sliders on the wall then i now there is a bed in the ceiling a very nice feature. A good size kitchen and a small bathroom but with those screen doors also a private shower Thanks again Nick a great show this Carthago 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Nick you really have to give props to the Germans they build great motorhomes, cars, trucks.......anyway I do like this one 😂 and have a great weekend bud 👍
The only complaint I have is the lack of any food prep areas. No lift up/add on work surfaces hidden away anywhere which you get in many motorhomes now. It doesn't look as big inside as it does from the outside, but it's beautifully built, and the two large TVs is a huge plus. Would've liked a microwave for the money being asked.
Now this is much better than the £90+K Fiat one. Ok 50K more but way more practicality for the extra coin. If you want comfort & something to travel in for more than a weekend then this fits the bill. My only issue is the small unattractive wheels on this. Surely Benz can do better. Nice find Nick.👌🙏🇨🇦👍
Winnibago fuse beats it hands down why you might ask well two years ago the winnibago fuse was £ 120,000 .extras a propane fueled generator, you get a marvelous full length electric awning ,+ a slide out either a bedroom slide or a dinet slide + a solar panel fabulous amount of storage inside storage pods outside ,big TV above the cab 3.2 litre automatic polished alloys on a Ford chassis.i know the price of motorhomes gave gone up one would assume the fuse is £140 ,000 now what I am saying is £139 .000 for the Mercedes Kathargo you get a manual windout awning not worth the money just my opinion.
I’ve always wondered, if you drive away with the step deployed will it automatically retract? Will you get a notification? Or is it safe to drive when it’s down?
The reversing camera on the C series is rubbish, fixed and only gives you a ground view of a few metres, towing our car it doesn’t even see the whole car. Had to put another one in to see behind property otherwise it’s a great series especially the A class 150QB we just bought. Although almost everything is an extra, so you can add 20-50k onto that price to fully spec it,
How many holidays can you have for that sort of money ? I know you can use it every weekend , but there is fuel to pay for , site fees and food to find , insurance etc. - these new motorhomes are becoming an indulgence for the wealthy.
Argh! The technology in this motorhome is from the stone age 😢 Lead acid batteries, gas heating and cooking and an analogue TV and audio distribution box using SCART connectors and RCA analogue audio cables. It's literally obsolete with 20 years out of date technology. We live in an area of Hybrid plug ins, at least 10KwH Lithium Ion batteries that can run HVAC overnight with all electric heating, AC, hot water and cooking that doesn't require a generator or motor on and heat pump based HVAC. If this is how typical motorhomes are still designed and built in the UK, then unfortunately these small businesses will all go under in the next 5 years as they are swamped by modern, all electric, integrated Motorhomes.
Wonderful ❤ but I can't efored it. So many motorhome are expensive. It's all wrong. We live in a world that's lost. I'm homeless. I need something like this. But I have no money to buy . I only earn normal wages. Its so sad world. Live it to the Lord
The cheapest sprinter without tax is 32k£ with a 150hp and manual box. An automatic single cab chassis STARTS at 41k£… once you add some basic extras you’re looking into 48k just for the chassis
Oh come on! Can you really recommend a van with a bed for £139000?! These reviews are getting more and more ridiculous. I hope they are paying you well for this? Are you too scared to say what you really mean incase they stop paying you?
What a bizarre comment! 😆 The price is the price, if you can't afford or don 't want to pay it that's absolutely your call but clearly plenty of people can and do, otherwise the manufacturers and dealers would be long since out of business.
