The owners kept this boat immaculate. Other than the slightly dated styling it looks like it was just taken out of the factory.

I think the title of the video should be changed to: "Nick's next yacht tour: 2007 Princess V42". For being 13 years old it seems to be in exceptional condition, thanks for the tour.

I'm interested to know if you had circa £200k in your hands whether you'd actually buy something 15 years old with the British Princess name, or go for some significantly newer and more modern from one of the European challenger brands/builders? To draw a comparison would you rather a nearly new Skoda of boats or a 15 years old Jaguar? I see some of the other boats on your channel like those from Bavaria, and unless it's nothing but badge snobbery, I can't see how these secondhand Princess or Sunseeker's ever stack up.

Whenever you show us a pre-owned boat, I am re-assured that there is absolutely no need to buy new: boat owners take such great care of their pride and joy. The "small" V-class boats are absolute stunners, you should totally get this one: just make a fund-me campaign, if every follower gives you $ 0.50 you can give Smugglers Blues 2 in part payment and get the Princess!

We viewers were excited when you got to 100k subs, then 200k subs... The icing on the cake will be the future Aquaholic video where you debut Smugglers Blues III, no matter which model it ends up being.

Lovely little boat. The only things that really gives away its age are the controls, but I’m sure an eager owner could revamp those. Interesting to hear about the passerelle and using it as a crane etc. I always thought it was just a fancy ramp! Would love to see a demonstration of one in a future video :)

Love how you give the same "respect" to smaller boats as you do to the mega yachts and do the same detailed showing of everything it has to offer. (And we got the signature "wave" 👋 in the mirror! lol!) Nice boat that I would love to have and travel in! An option I noticed on the boat next door to this one that I really like and would add to this one is the Wind Turbine to help charge the batteries and give extra power when you didn't have Shore power access! Princess should give you a free V55 for a year to try out and make all types of great videos with your wife. Showing the livability of their newer yachts.

If I was you captain Nick I'd stay with smugglers blues and build this channel to a point were it's a profitable business and save every penny and put it back into the channel ! Learn Editing skills to enhance the production because you have already built your name as best in the buisness! Maybe considering using a editer to create a polished production then I gaureentee you will reach a million subbs and that's going to give you the funds to buy a nice 50 to 60 foot flybridge or sports vessel I'm sure you dream of! Going to 42 foot is going to up your running costs that could be used to reach this goal! Maybe I'm wrong but if you do dream of something in the 50 to 60 feet range put every penny into the channel and you will be at the top in no time! A nice used princess 56fly or 61foot fly would be perfect! I love the 56 it's one of my favourites even over larger boats! Work hard aim big this is your moment you have worked and dreamed all your life I'd grab it because it does not come around often! I'd say 3 years and your there! Imagine the amazing vids you could make on a 56fly princess! You could charge subscribers for overnight trips and make vids with them! It would be a greatest yacht channel on earth! Well it already is!! Happy sailing!!

Surprised that this is powered by stern drives but I guess OK if you take care of the lower units as this owner has obviously done. Love the top notch deck hardware - good strong stuff where you really need it. Missing Maggie though.

Curious, If you did not have to worry about purchase and associated cost and only have to worry about operational cost moving forward, which boat would you buy? What size? and new or used? Of course this boat is beautiful.

If it wasnt for the tidal locks in the UK im sure the boating industry would be 10x bigger. I use to live in Florida where the tides fluctuate 1-4 feet. When I came back to the UK and got into boating I was shocked that the tides can fluctuate 20+ feet.

although the £210K Beneteau 32GT that reviewed recently is smaller in size but it is so much nicer....

For a 2007 boat it looks as good as new, definitely would be a great buy if you decide on this boat

That isn't a boat, it's a Tardis. Fantastic weekender, and even appeals to me who normally prefers the trawler style. Even if you don't buy it, Nick, I wouldn't be surprised if you see your next Aquaholic-inspired sale, hard on the heels of the Sunseeker.

I hate to say this, but I don't think the interior is that great in terms of layout and space. In particular, unless you really, really need two cabins on a regular basis, they take up a lot of space with little return, and the aft cabin is badly underdeveloped. If you look at eg a notably smaller and older Sundancer such as this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cxcO1fiFxdw.html you get a less elegant but much more functional interior, including a big fridge and a freezer. And if you go up a few feet in length (ie, a Sundancer of the same size as the Princess), the aft cabin space is enclosed with a bulkhead and has its own head, and it isn't uncommon for owners to fit a huge television and dub it "the media room". For the avoidance of doubt, my observation is only about layout, space, and liveability. Please don't start arguing about engines, build quality, finish, etc, that's not the point.

I like the layout. Its a high standard as Princess is a master of providing. I think you'd love it as the third vessrl. Do they do a flybridge version Nick? I bet slightly more expensive. I always get surprised with the forward below deck areas on these smaller vessels. Some are a real home from home. Bet some live on board.

I think it would be very difficult for you to find a better up-grade for SB2, seen as you know both the boat and the obviously very careful one owner from new. A beautiful and well kitted-out galley seating area, also that teak on the deck looked like new. Great helm with so many gauges and controls (I'am a bells n' whistles nerd) Also the best ever explanation on the stern-to Med, berthing. Thank you for a great video again and take care.

First, this is a great advertisement for the quality of Princess yachts. Of course the owner obviously took fantastic care of her, but damn! Even the styling holds up well. In this size, I’d prefer a flybridge model, but I would certainly not hate this one. Lovely weekender, or longer I suppose. Maybe a trip down to the Med? As always another fantastic Aquaholic tour as well. As others have said, Smugglers Blues III ......

Lovely boat - I always like the owners who choose to have a top-specced comfortable smaller boat for their money, rather than "buying feet" and getting the biggest boat they can afford - but bare bones in terms of spec.
